NOTTINGHAM

Race 5 No4 TUPERO (Nap)
Trainer: David O’Meara – Jockey: David Nolan

TUPERO won at Newcastle and continued to earn in his next three outings before returning to winning ways at Redcar, where he saw out the mile and threequarters in great style. With his stamina assured the Frankel gelding looks very much the one to beat.

Race 6 No2 SHADY BAY
Trainer: Tom Ward – Jockey: Alec Voikhansky

Winning experience at the course is a card SHADY BAY can play effectively in this fillies’ handicap. She looked better the further she travelled on that occasion, and goes for the follow-up with plenty of stable confidence behind her.

THIRSK

Race 3 No3 FAR ABOVE THE LAW (Nap)
Trainer: Michael Herrington – Jockey: David Probert

FAR ABOVE THE LAW returned to form with a vengeance and scored with something in hand at Ascot. He remains at the 1000 metres distance for this similar contest, and can defy his 6lb higher mark.

Race 4 No6 LETSBEFRANK
Trainer: Jim Goldie – Jockey: Lauren Young

LETSBEFRANK is in a deeper race than that in which he maintained his winning run at Hamilton, but the manner of his triumph strongly suggests there could be more to come. He’s making up for a largely frustrating 2025 campaign, and with relatively few miles on his racing clock has room for further progression under an apprentice who is good value for her 5lb claim.

Race 6 No3 POLE STAR
Trainer: Charlie Johnston – Jockey: Jason Hart

POLE STAR races off the same mark as when third at Newmarket last month. He’s claimed a cheque on both 2026 outings and if going forward again, which seems likely, he will be hard to keep out of the shake-up. This faster ground is not a problem to him, while he should have no trouble moving up in trip to two miles.

Race 7 No3 RENEWAL
Trainer: Ralph Beckett – Jockey: Rossa Ryan

RENEWAL hasn’t been without her issues but is yet to finish out of the money in five outings spread over two seasons. She went up for getting beaten when last seen at Newcastle in the autumn, but with a breakthrough triumph today can show that the handicapper was right.

FAKENHAM

Race 4 No1 AN BRADAN FEASA (Nap)
Trainer: Jack Jones – Jockey: Sean Bowen

Although his back to back successes happened last autumn, AN BRADAN FEASA had a readying run on the all-weather in which he troubled the judge and will be iron fit for this attempt to complete the hat-trick.

Race 6 No2 MARKET HOUSE
Trainer: James Owen – Jockey: Miss Gina Andrews

MARKET HOUSE troubled the judge in an AW race earlier this month and has served his owners well as a dual purpose performer. He’s 3lb higher than for his latest jumping triumph at Plumpton last month when he was backed into favouritism.
