LINGFIELD PARK
Race 2 No6 CHERRY COLA (Each Way)
Trainer: Sheena West – Jockey: Rose Dawes
West brought Mr Freedom back from a lengthy absence to run into the money last week and CHERRY COLA can match that performance. The Sixties Icon mare hasn’t won for two years but goes well for Dawes. She faces a strong challenge from CHARLES MORIN, but should get into the shake-up.
Race 4 No2 RAILWAYMAN (Nap)
Trainer: Karl Burke – Jockey: Clifford Lee
RAILWAYMAN was always in control when breaking his maiden at Ayr and could offer up better value than his odds-on opponent BEHIKE. The Nap is a son of Blue Point, and bred to be speedy, while he’s travelled a long way for this.
REDCAR
Race 1 No7 KODIAK BREEZE (Nap)
Trainer: Kevin Ryan – Jockey: Shane Gray
The benefit of having already had a run can shone through for KODIAK BREEZE who is strongly fancied to better his pleasing first effort when second at Thirsk. He showed abundant early pace and will be more streetwise.
Race 4 No6 FANCIULLA DEL WEST (Each Way)
Trainer: Ed Walker – Jockey: George Downing
Lope Y Fernandez filly FANCIULLA DEL WEST shaped well when second to a smart foe in novice company, a run that earned her a handicap mark of 68. Her long journey from Lambourn can be rewarded with a podium finish as she drops back slightly on the distance ladder.
CARLISLE
Race 7 No9 BAY BREEZE (Each Way)
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: Jake Dickson
BAY BREEZE normally needs a run to bring him to the boil and that happened when he ran down the field at Leicester a fortnight ago. The eight race winner should now be ready to step up against his stablemate VINCE LE PRNCE, and represents better value.
WINDSOR
Race 1 No3 CONCERT PITCH (Nap)
Trainer: Brian Ellison – Jockey: Tom Marquand
Windsor’s evening fixture season kicks off with a good chance of success for northern journeyman CONCERT PITCH, who overcame a tricky draw when second at Beverley and should on this third start be cherry ripe to open his account.
Race 2 No3 REDORANGE
Trainer: Clive Cox – Jockey: Rossa Ryan
REDORANGE didn’t perform as well as I hoped at York last week but that first outing of 2026 should have brought him on. Rossa Ryan has a good record in the Mehmas gelding, and the combination can get into the shake-up.
Race 4 No2 SANDSCREENDELIVERD
Trainer: Peter Crate – Jockey: Tom Queally
SANDSCREENDELIVERD has shown with a couple of narrow near misses that he’s a winner waiting to happen. The race in which he was beaten in a photo at Goodwood has worked out, and he looks sure to go well.
Race 5 No5 OH YES YOU DO
Trainer: David Menuisier – Jockey: Rossa Ryan
After finishing second on handicap debut at Doncaster, OH YES YOU DO is ready to go one better running from a stable whose horses are emerging into some form and had a similar winner on Saturday with Lost Boys. The Zarak filly has a top rider doing the steering.
WOLVERHAMPTON
Race 1 No2 MAGNA
Trainer: Tony Carroll – Jockey: Luke Morris
MAGNA landed the hat-trick over 1200 metres here like a filly that could still be ahead of the handicapper. She went up 3lb but is strongly fancied to extend that fine winning sequence.
Race 3 No2 MOUNTAIN CAT (Nap)
Trainer: Saeed Bin Suroor – Jockey: Oisin Murphy
Although showing signs of inexperience, MOUNTAIN CAT delivered a telling blow on his first start at Doncaster and now has the champion jockey in his saddle. This should be a straightforward assignment for the Nap, who can remain unbeaten
