CHEPSTOW

Race 2 No3 SAN FRANCISCO BAY (Each Way)
Trainer: Henry Candy – Jockey: Mr Henry Main

SAN FRANCISCO BAY was always going to find life hard on his latest start at Leicester with other horses in the field that also like to make the running. In the circumstances he made a good fist of it until weakening in the final furlong, and if he’s gone forward for that can get involved at a price.

Race 4 No6 SONIC SI (Nap)
Trainer: Tony Carroll- Jockey: Rossa Ryan

After a number of solid runs on the all-weather, SONIC SI revelled in a switch to turf to land some good bets at Nottingham and Rossa Ryan retains the ride. The Nap looked good value for his margin of victory and can follow-up under his revised mark.

Race 6 No3 TOO MUCH TREVOR
Trainer: G Harris – Jockey: Olivia Tubb

TOO MUCH TREVOR found himself on the wrong side of the course when run out of it on his penultimate start here. He went one better over the same terrain last week, and though 2lb worse off with Punchbowl Flyer can confirm those placings.

CARLISLE

Race 1 No7 CALL NICKI (Nap)
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: David Allan

CALL NICKI has progressed from race to race, with a near miss on her third and latest outing over 1000 metres here. The daughter of Soldier’s Call can use her experience edge to open her account.

Race 2 No4 RAIN CAP (Each Way)
Trainer: John Riches – Jockey: Sean Kirrane

RAIN CAP was performing well before embarking on a freshening break. As a closer he requires a strong pace to aim at and could get that, while underfoot conditions are fine.

Race 4 No13 ARCTIC FOX (Each Way)
Trainer: Martin Todhunter – Jockey: Mark Winn

ARCTIC FOX won this carrying a higher weight 12 months ago. The six race winner has troubled the judge in both outings this year, giving the impression he’s been specially prepared for the race.

WETHERBY

Race 1 No7 WISE AND WONDERFUL
Trainer: Andrew Balding- Jockey: Oisin Murphy

WISE AND WONDERFUL proved easy to back on debut at Kempton but claimed a minor cheque. The Oasis Dream filly needs to improve to win this, but has the champ in her saddle, and that can prove significant.

Race 5 No4 AMERJEET
Trainer: Michael Herrington- Jockey: Jason Hart

As a confirmed hold up horse AMERJEET makes a rod for his own back by requiring luck in running, something that’s deserted him on two or three occasions this season. He’s not an obvious pick for this modest affair, but can definitely earn if the cards fall right for him.

Race 7 No3 BRADBURY (Nap)
Trainer: Ed Bethell – Jockey: Kevin Stott

BRADBURY has rightly been labelled a rogue, but after throwing away successive races at Ripon and Beverley he put the record straight when always in control at Leicester last week.having taken that race well it’s no surprise to see his trainer trying to strike while the iron’s hot.

WINDSOR

Race 5 No4 MARCELLINUS (Nap)
Trainer: Tom Dascombe – Jockey: Ashley Lewis

Race 7 No1 COURT OF STARS
Trainer: Ollie Sangster – Jockey: Billy Loughnane

Inns Of Court filly COURT OF STARS has paid the price of success with top weight in the finale following figures of 122 this season. Although beaten a long way on her latest outing at Wolverhampton she should appreciate a return to the grass under the irrepressible Loughnane.
