RIPON

Race 2 No1 BAI TONG (Nap)
Trainer: Karl Burke – Jockey: Clifford Lee

Blue Point filly BAI TONG showed she has ability when finishing just out of the money on her first run, for which she’s gone forward. She should make an impact for a stable that is bang among the winners.

Race 4 No3 POWDERING (Each Way)
Trainer: Michael Herrington – Jockey: Connor Planas

POWDERING made the frame in a Newmarket race where the principals were well stretched out. It was the mare’s second promising effort in succession, suggesting she’s ready to break a losing run going back to September last year.

HAMILTON PARK

Race 1 No3 MIND THOSE STEPS (Nap)
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: David Allan

It’s reasonable to expect Pinatubo colt MIND THOSE STEPS to be more streetwise for his promising first effort at Ripon where he stayed on to trouble the judge. Juveniles from this stable invariably go forward from their first outing and he can prove a case in point.

Race 3 No8 SAVROLA (Each Way)
Trainer: Dianne Sayer – Jockey: Jason Hart

SAVROLA was a consistent earner in five 2025 starts in which he scored twice and finished second on the other three occasions. He came to hand early with a success at Thirsk and rounded off with a near miss at York. If similarly fit for this reappearance he can trouble the best of them.

Race 4 No11 REIGNING PROFIT (Each Way)
Trainer: Ruth Carr – Jockey: James Sullivan

REIGNING PROFIT put in a seasonal best when just out of the money over the course and distance last month. While it was a step in the right direction, his last success happened at Class3 level, and he’s probably ready to pop.

Race 5 No8 PLAID
Trainer: James Fanshawe – Jockey: Saffie Osborne

PLAID needs serious consideration on just a fourth career start and on handicap debut. She put in an eye taking effort when second at Kempton in March and has form on grass that puts the Ghaiyyath filly in with a strong chance of taking away a cheque, while she’s getting weight from the field.

Race 6 No6 THE GOOD BISCUIT (Each Way)
Trainer: Ruth Carr – Jockey: Warren Fentiman

Another advice on an attractive card for betting is THE GOOD BISCUIT. He finished best of all when chasing home all the way scorer Rosenpur at Chester when the winner got first run on the field. His wind issues of old appear to have been corrected, and he has a solid each way chance.

STRATFORD

Race 6 No4 BAGHEERA GINGE (Nap)
Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

BAGHEERA GINGE stands out as the only bet on this card on a first outing since the autumn. He has a first time visor and should prove hard to peg back if he gets onto the lead and into a rhythm with his jumping.
