Race 1: JCB Triumph Hurdle

We will be shouting for Gust of Wind and hopefully he can take a step forward, he will need to in order to win this race but that is not without question as Willie Mullins is a master. He’s got a stiff task to tread to the likes of Zenta, he is probably the one to beat.

Race 3: Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle

I like Hiddenvalley Lake, Henry de Bromhead is a master, I think this horse has shown really nice form so far. Monty’s Star is another horse in the same race, who has actually beaten Hiddenvalley Lake but they were racing after Hiddenvalley Lake was carrying 7 pounds more than him last time and was only half a length back. They are back on levels today and I think Hiddenvalley Lake could be a winner for Rachel Blackmore.

Race 4: Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup Chase

Noble Yeats for me for the Gold cup, obviously a grand national winner. Other than being pulled up Aintree in October, 2 wins this year, a third and he wasn’t a disgrace last time that he ran and he was beaten by 2 and a 1/2 lengths by Ahoy Senor. Super horse for Robert Waley-Cohen and Emmet Mullins, I think he can do the business, he has the course and distance form.
