YARMOUTH

Race 1 No4 QUADRILLION (Nap)
Trainer: Harry Charlton – Jockey: Lewis Edmunds

An interest g opener is best left to QUADRLLION, who troubled the judge on both juvenile starts in 2025. The Kingman filly can parry the attentions of STARLIGHT LASS, who is yet to race but arrives with good vibes from the Newmarket gallops.

Race 5 No6 MYTHICAL GUEST (Each Way)
Trainer: George Margarson – Jockey: John Egan

A chance is taken on MYTHICAL GUEST to raise his game for a trainer with a good record in handicap at this track. The selection didn’t cut any ice when down the field on his Newmarket return, but that outing has done him the power of good, and he can progress from it.

FONTWELL PARK

Race 2 No5 A LITTLE SOMETHING (Nap)
Trainer: Emma Lavelle – Jockey: Ben Jones

Going into battle off an uncharged mark than for her very impressive Stratford win, it’s impossible to oppose A LITTLE SOMETHING who is the best bet on the card and should prove very hard to beat.

Race 3 No2 ALMUHIT
Trainer: Faye Bramley – Jockey: Harry Cobden

ALMUHIT has retained a touch of class and needs taking seriously following a sharpener on the Flat ten days ago. He made the frame in a competitive heat at Punchestown in April and in Harry Cobden has the right man in his saddle to get the job done.

Race 4 No1 SPECIAL JOHN
Trainer: Sam Thomas – Jockey: Matt Griffiths

Multiple scorer SPECIAL JOHN made the perfect start to the year when romping home at Bangor. He incurred a 7lb rise for his troubles, but while in this kind of form is one to follow.

HAMILTON PARK

Race 3 No1 FLORIDA DREAMS
Trainer: Sandy Thomson – Jockey: Kevin Stott

Having changed stables FLORIDA DREAM acquitted himself well when beaten only three lengths in a Haydock maiden. It encourages me that he can pay to,follow in his new role, and the gelding doesn’t look badly treated for this first run in a handicap.

Race 4 No4 HI LORD (Nap)
Trainer: W Harrison – Jockey: Barry McHugh

HI LORD advertised his liking for the sprint track here with a course and distance triumph two starts back. He went down fighting in a blanket finish last time and now competes off the same mark as an in form horse.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 3 No9 VELVET VEGA (Nap)
Trainer: John Gosden – Jockey: Oisin Murphy

Gosden holds the key to an interesting fillies’ maiden with VELVET VEGA. The Lope De Vega filly brings strong form to the table following her fine effort to chase home the odds on Earth Shot on debut at Newmarket. She will be more streetwise, and with the champ in her irons should open her account.

Race 6 No6 BIG HARRY
Trainer: William Stone – Jockey: Kieran Shoemark

BIG HARRY opened his account on a third and final outing in 2025 and now crosses the divide into a handicap. He was very impressive when making all,in that Doncaster contest, and should pay to follow in 1200 metres sprints this year.

Race 8 No9 KARAKULA
Trainer: James Ferguson – Jockey: Toby Moore

With Ferguson on the bank of pursuing a new job in racing his runners are of particular interest and in KARAKULA he could have the answer to this open finale. The selection has finished second in successive visits to Wolverhampton, failing by only a shot head to catch a good yardstick in Bizou last time. Granted some luck in running the Sea The Moon filly can return to winning ways.
