YARMOUTH

Race 1 No3 TWILIGHT GUEST (Nap)
Trainer: George Margarson – Jovkey: David Egan

One of the best bets on a low key day ahead of the start of Guineas weekend is TWILIGHT GUEST. He looked in need of his first run back at the Craven meeting and should be fitter, while he’s dropped temptingly in the weights.

Race 3 No4 EUSTON HALL
Trainer: Ed Walker – Jockey: James Doyle

Dark Angel colt EUSTON HALL put in his best work at the finish when third at Newcastle. He was momentarily outpaced when the tempo quickened, but was strong to the line, suggest this 1600 metres is what he wants.

Race 4 No4 GRINDLETON
Trainer: Daniel Kubler – Jockey: Tom Marquand

GRINDLETON progressed from race to race in three 2025 outings and now steps up in trip on handicap debut. He should make an impression with Marquand an eye taking booking for him.

Race 7 No6 GUEST HOUSE (Each Way)
Trainer: George Margarson – Jockey: John Egan

GUEST HOUSE is carded to go off the outsider of six runners but I wouldn’t discount him. He gained useful course form when placed on his final outing last season, and with the benefit of a winter in which he’s strengthened up could have a say.

LINGFIELD PARK

Race 4 No2 TUSCAN POINT (Nap)
Trainer: Adam Kirby – Jockey: Pat Cosgrave

Kirby is enjoying a great strike-rate with his first runners and TUSCAN POINT can add to those laurels. A winner on sand, he’s lightly raced on it and frequently attracts support. He’s been found a cracking opportunity to return to winning ways.

Race 6 No3 PLAY ME
Trainer: Jim Boyle – Jockey: Donagh Murphy

Considering how frequently he made the frame last year, PLAY ME can’t be ruled out of this seasonal comeback. The Too Darn Hot gelding visited the podium on his last five outings which included a sole career win at Epsom, and now runs on sand for a first time in 18 months.

REDCAR

Race 6 No6 FAIRYDALE (Nap)
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: David Allan

One I like at a price as the only bet on this card is FAIRYDALE. The daughter of Waldgeist showed glimpses of ability in her first season, and with the addition of cheek pieces can ensure things don’t go too swimmingly for odds-on KING OF BERKSHIRE.

SOUTHWELL

Race 2 No1 THE BAY WARRIOR (Nap)
Trainer: Mark Usher – Jockey: Rose Dawes

Dawes is doing well with winners outside her main stable and should again be on the mark with THE BAY WARRIOR who looks to be running into form. The top weight made a good fist of leading all the way when third at Wolverhampton last week and over this slightly shorter distance can go gate to wire.

Race 6 No2 SPIRIT OF JENNY
Trainer: Steph Hollinshead – Jockey: Clifford Lee

SPIRIT OF JENNY has regularly troubled the judge and put in a career best when second on her first run of the year. Like The Bay Warrior the Inns Of Court filly tried to lead throughout only to be collated late, suggesting this shorter trip should be of benefit.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 3 No2 LANGSTONE (Each Way)
Trainer: Clive Cox – Jockey: Rob Hornby

A first time hood casts a shadow over paper favourite TALES OF WISDOM and makes LANGSTONE more attractive price wise. The grey put in a storming run to grab a hot favourite on his first run at Doncaster at the end of last month, and can prove it was no fluke.

Race 6 No4 TENZI (Nap)
Trainer: Jamie Osborne – Jockey: Saffie Osborne

Pinatubo filly TENZI survived a scare when inching home at Southwell and her trainer sees fit to pull her back to 1200 metres for this first run in a handicap, which can see her follow-up.
