BATH

Race 2 No5 PARTY ISLAND
Trainer: Denis Coakley – Jockey: George Bass

Coakley has made an encouraging start to the season and can take out this 2000 metres contest with PARTY ISLAND. The nine-year-old drops back in trip but shouldn’t he fazed by it, while he signalled when placed off a 4lb higher mark last time that he’s on the cusp of a breakthrough.

Race 4 No10 SOLAR INVINCIBLE (Nap)
Trainer: Roger Teal – Jockey: Lewis Edmunds

With a snug course and distance success behind him, and while operating from the foot of the weights, SOLAR INVINCIBLE has plenty going for him. He’s been raised 4lb and has a very good draw on this dog leg 1000 metres.

Race 7 No7 MALI STAR (Each Way)
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: George Bass

While he hasn’t yet lived up to what was expected of him, MALI STAR has potential to do better this year. He’s shown sufficient in his work to suggest he can make the frame in this weakly contested affair.

LINGFIELD PARK

Race 5 No6 FRANCISCO (Nap)
Trainer: Patrick Chamings – Jockey: Charlie Tucker

FRANCISCO has been knocking on the door and would be a deserving winner of this low grade handicap. Seven furlongs is his optimum trip, and his only previous success happened on the AW. With a tongue strap and a visor he’s equipped to put his head in front.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 2 No3 SHAYHANA (Nap)
Trainer: Owen Burrows – Jockey: Saffie Osborne

From a stable amongst the winners, SHAYHANA can take the spoils. It was only in a three horse race that she finished second on her only career start at Lingfield, but she didn’t go unbacked and the horse that beat her had a big experience edge. The daughter of Frankel has done well physically through the winter, and can open her account.

Race 6 No4 BRADBURY
Trainer: Ed Bethell – Jockey: Callum Rodriguez

A gamble on BRADBURY went west at Lingfield when his connections were looking to the switch to handicaps assisting him. However, he came away with a genuine excuse and the addition of a tongue strap should help him show his true ability this time.
