HEREFORD

Race 6 No1 MISS KINGSTON (Nap)
Trainer: Alistair Ralph – Jockey: Jonathan Burke

MISS KINGSTON was enterprisingly ridden when opening her account over jumps at Chepstow before running into a much improved foe under a penalty at Worcester. She showed up for a long way when switched to a handicap at the same course before weakening on the run in, and is back into calmer waters in a race she should win.

Race 7 No12 BITS BALLOU
Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey:

BITS BALLOU has steadily improved through the summer jumping season, deservedly putting one on the board at Newton Abbot in an exercise that showed she handles cut in the ground. It also confirmed her stamina capabilities over the marathon distance of three and a quarter miles.

LEICESTER

Race 3 No7 ROGUE CONSTELATION
Trainer: Ed Bethell – Jockey: David Probert

ROGUE CONSTELATION handled the heavy conditions when third of five on his Ayr introduction and should come on in leaps and bounds for that promising effort. Juveniles from his stable invariably go a fair way forward from their first outings and he can prove a case in point.

Race 5 No15 TWILIGHT GUEST (Each Way)
Trainer: George Margarson – Jockey: Connor Planas

Nearest at the finish on his latest start at Brighton, TWILIGHT GUEST has struggled to regain the form levels that saw him compile a fine hat-trick last season but that was an encouraging effort for a stable whose horses in the Guest colours have been running especially well.

Race 6 No3 FENLANDER (Nap)
Traner: Pam Sly – Jockey: Shay Farmer

FENLANDER carries a 5lb penalty on a quick return to action following his Newmarket success last week. It was a fourth win of the season for the consistent performer whose rider’s claim eradicates the weights rise.

REDCAR

Race 2 No1 CALDO (Nap)
Trainer: Andrew Balding – Jockey: PJ McDonald

CALDO made a step forward on his second outing when second at Nottingham, and with further progress on the cards over this suitably longer trip he can open his account.

Race 7 No12 HARES BREDTH (Each Way)
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: David Allan

HARES BREDTH is of particular interest having dropped to a mark below his last winning one in June. That came over today’s course and distance and the selection is versatile in his ability to handle varying ground conditions.

SOUTHWELL

Race 4 No2 TOASTMASTER (Nap)
Trainer: Michael Herrington – Jockey: Billy Loughnane

TOASTMASTER hasn’t in three starts managed to progress from his opening triumph for Herrington at Doncaster. However, he’s been freshened up by a short break after his disappointing effort at Yarmouth, and with the champion jockey in the irons, he can bounce back.

Race 5 No7 LEIA ANTILLES (Each Way)
Trainer: Henry Candy – Jockey: Nicola Currie

While not the most straightforward of fillies, LEIA ANTILLES upped her game with a career best effort when second at Kempton. She has a tricky draw to deal with, but could find more.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 3 No7 SHOWMASTER (Nap)
Trainer: Clive Cox – Jockey: Rossa Ryan

Showcasing colt SHOWMASTER put in an encouraging first offering when troubling the judge at Salisbury in a race where the principals in the market filled the first three places. He was doing his best work at the finish, and has gone forward for it.

Race 4 No3 BLUE PRINCE
Trainer: David Evans – Jockey: Rossa Ryan

BLUE PRINCE put in his usual solid performance when third over course and distance earlier in the month and from a very good draw. Under a jockey who knows how to get the best out of him can again get into the shake up.
