CHEPSTOW

Race 6 No10 BREDON HILL DART
Trainer: Sue Gardner – Jockey: C P O’Shea

BREDON HILL DART finished off his race strongly after looking held at Exeter and now races off the same mark. This good to soft ground is ideal for the seven-year-old while the long home straight will also be in his favour.

Race 7 No6 STICK TO THE BOARD (Nap)
Trainer: Paul Nicholls – Jockey: Harry Cobden

STICK TO THE BOARD would probably have prevailed in his only point but for making a horlicks of the last. He will have been well prepared for this first Rules outing and first from Ditcheat. Furthermore he looks much the best of Harry Cobden’s two rides on the card.

WARWICK

Race 3 No7 KAP DE TRIOMPHE
Traner: Christian Williams – Jockey: Jack Tudor

KAP DE TRIOMPHE upped his game to land some good bets on return from a lengthy absence over hurdles at Plumpton. He hails from a stable that never wastes time in putting its novices over fences, and is strongly fancied to back up that first career success.

Race 5 No6 PILSDON PEN (Nap)
Trainer: Jeremy Scott- Jockey: Rex Dingle

PILSDON PEN does much of his racing at Wincanton, but should enjoy returning to this right handed course where the emphasis is firmly on jumping. He’s experienced a topsy turvy season but his near miss in spite of a series of mistakes at Wincanton suggests he’s capable of taking out this feature.

Race 6 No4 IVOR BEAR
Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

IVOR BEAR brings much the best form to the table and if running to the same level as when second at Doncaster should face a straightforward task in opening his account.

SOUTHWELL

Race 3 No3 CHOURMO
Trainer: Dan Horsford – Jockey: Hollie Doyle

Brighton specialist CHOURMO doesn’t win as often on sand, but Doyle is an eye taking booking for the gelding who has improved from race to race in his three starts this year. On this cut back on the distance ladder he can make it a fifth career triumph.

Race 4 No5 CREST OF FIRE (Nap)
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: David Probert

Having around a stone in hand of his opponents on the ratings, CREST OF FIRE can convert this penalty kick on the way to better things. The grey regularly troubled the judge in his juvenile season, has done well physically through the winter and is unlikely to be raised much for his efforts before heading into the handicap arena.

Race 6 No6 RILEY ROCKS
Trainer: Dylan Cunha – Jockey: David Probert

Handicap rookie RILEY ROCKS represents a Newcastle novice that is working out well. The son of Sergei Prokofiev is well bred for sprinting, and has bags of scope for progression in his clash with Wolverhampton winner WYLE COP.

CHELMSFORD CITY

Race 7 No4 PANTILE’S GIFT (Nap)
Trainer: Jack Morland – Jockey: Cieren Fallon

PANTILE’S GIFT needs to put a costly defeat at Bath behind him on this first handicap assignment but the gelded son of Adertise has always promised to do well in this sphere. He can cause problems to hat-trick seeker ZIPWIRE.
