CATTERICK BRIDGE
Race 3 No4 GOOD KARMA (Nap)
Trainer: John Riches – Jockey: Sean Kirrane
GOOD KARMA has been on song with a win at Wolverhampton and a near miss at Carlisle over his optimum 1400 metres distance. On only a second visit to this tight track he’s expected to take away another cheque and continue the generally good form of his trainer’s sprinters.
Race 4 No4 FAIRYDALE (Each Way)
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: David Allan
FAIRYDALE hasn’t attracted a penny of support in four outings this season but there was a sign on his latest earning run when fourth over a mile and a half at Ripon that the penny is starting to drop. She did well following a poor start, and better is expected as she remains at that distance.
WORCESTER
Race 5 No3 MEDIA MOGUL (Nap)
Trainer: Tom Dascombe – Jockey: David Bass
Four last time out winners clash in this two miles handicap hurdle of whom MEDIA MOGUL can come out on top. There’s so much to like about his ecent first success under Rules in that he was dropped in grade and was making a second start following a breathing op. It was just a third ever start for the Advertise gelding who has scope for further progression now handicapping.
Race 7 No11 ALDERLEY CHARLIE (Each Way)
Trainer: Polly Gundry – Jockey: Harry Reed
Having shown massive improvement when finishing second at Ffos Las back in May, ALDERLEY CHARLIE is a very interesting runner tackling the same trip. If he’s benefitted from a short break he could trouble the best of these, while he will probably make his move in the second part of the contest.
LEICESTER
Race 6 No7 PIMENTEL (Nap)
Trainer: Marcus Tregoning – Jockey: Ashley Lewis
At the end of a tough card for punting PIMENTEL could be the answer. A move up to the 1400 metres distance could prove just the ticket for this daughter of Pinatubo, who holds her form remarkably well.
LINGFIELD PARK
Race 5 No6 SAYIDAH ALEEN (Nap)
Trainer: Marco Botti – Jockey: Kieran Shoemark
SAYIDAH ALEEN has a tongue strap added for this open looking affair which could make a difference to the daughter of Ten Sovereigns. She’s another that can prosper for a step back up the trip ladder.
Race 6 No7 OH SO AUDACIOUS (Each Way)
Trainer: Jack Jones – Jockey: Hector Crouch
Three times Brighton scorer OH SO AUDACIOUS has been easy to back on both starts for her new trainer, but there was something to like about her latest when picking up a minor cheque at the same course. The seven-year-old offers up some value and should now be fully primed.
