According to the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA), the 29-year-old fixed six matches, five of which he played in.

Milicevic has been handed a 24-year ban, ruling him ineligible to compete in any professional tennis matches or tournaments until October 2050.

He is also prohibited from coaching at any level and barred from attending any events organised, recognised or sanctioned by the ITIA, ATP, WTA, the Grand Slam tournaments or any national tennis association.

Milicevic began his professional tennis career in 2013, competing primarily on the lower-tier ITF Tour, where he played in 22 tournaments between 2013 and 2023. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 1,338.

The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) issued a statement that reads, “Milicevic was also charged with recruiting or attempting to recruit multiple professional players as part of a corrupt network during the same period, resulting in a number of other players fixing matches.

“While suspended, Milicevic is not allowed to play in, coach at, or attend any events organised or sanctioned by World Tennis, WTA, ATP, the Grand Slams, or any national association.”

Milicevic is not the only tennis player to have faced a lengthy ban for corruption-related offences.

Before engaging in such activities, he should have considered the severe consequences suffered by other players found guilty of match-fixing and breaches of tennis’s anti-corruption rules.

Jordi Fornell Mestres received a 22-year-and-six-month ban from the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA), while French player Quentin Folliot was handed a 20-year ban in December 2025 for 27 breaches of the Tennis Anti-Corruption Program and his role in operating a match-fixing network.

Younes Rachidi received a lifetime ban in February 2023 after being found guilty of 135 match-fixing offences, a record number at the time.
