Race 1 – SALVER 21/20

SALVER (1) made a winning debut in nice fashion at Warwick running 2.75L clear attempting a 2m juvenile maiden hurdle earlier this month. Top chance set to confirm promise.

JOHANNES (5) profiles well for a notable stable and rates an interesting newcomer.

VALADON (9) represents a yard who maintains a good strike rate at this course for 2023 so could show promise resumed. AUTHOCELTIC (2) also profiles well.

Race 2 – HAMARTIA 13/8

HAMARTIA (3) showed promise in Ireland earlier this year including a good second at Kilbeggan three starts back attempting a 2m3f maiden hurdle. Open to further improvement and rates a serious player.

GETAWAY THEATRE (1) could prove the main danger following a 3L success in a Stratford 2m6f maiden hurdle. Include.

VON HALLERS (5) was unlucky to unseat the rider at Ludlow and can be given another chance. DON’T RIGHTLY KNOW (2) is worth a market check.

Race 3 – AMRONS SAGE 9/2

AMRONS SAGE (6) was in good form earlier this year. Went well at Southwell during April when a smart third attempting a 2m4f novices hurdle. This looks an ideal opportunity. Leading chance.

KILBEG KING (1) showed ability on chase debut finishing third in a 2m4f novices chase at Warwick. Open to plenty of further progress and may go close.

ISSUING AUTHORITY (5) maintains a consistent profile. Last seen recording a good second tackling a 2m5f novices hurdle at Kempton during March. Holds claims. Previous course winner HERMES DU GOUET (8) could feature.

Race 4 – KING ALEXANDER 2/1

KING ALEXANDER (1) represents top yard. Unlucky to fall at the final hurdle over 2m5f at Market Rasen in June. Easy winner prior at Ffos Las and rates a leading contender.

TARAHUMARA (2) found success by 3.5L attempting a 2m handicap hurdle at Warwick. Up in standard but rates highly.

MOT A MOT (3) warrants a market check after a year long absence. WINTERWATCH (5) looks next best.

Race 5 – ITO DITTO 5/2

ITO DITTO (6) scored on seasonal return by 4.25L attempting a 2m handicap hurdle at Chepstow. Up in standard but rates a leading chance.

ORCHARD GROVE (2) ran well in July 2022 when last seen at Bangor-on-Dee finishing a solid third in a 2m4f handicap hurdle. Worth a market check.

FOUROFAKIND (7) could improve on second outing for the season and may place. ASIAN SPICE (12) won a course and distance handicap hurdle by 0.5L. May feature.

Race 6 – ENJOY YOUR LIFE 9/4

ENJOY YOUR LIFE (8) showed plenty of ability at Wincanton when 3L second in a 2m4f handicap chase. Back up in trip and rates a big chance.

INVESTMENT MANAGER (3) maintains a consistent profile including a strong 0.5L second tackling a heavy ground 3m2f novices handicap chase at Newton Abbot. Consider.

LANDEN CALLING (1) did well producing a runner-up effort at Newton Abbot in latest and holds claims after a break. MUMBO JUMBO (6) makes the shortlist.

Race 7 – DANTON 5/4

DANTON (1) showed plenty of ability in this handicap hurdle grade when 0.5L second tackling a 2m1f handicap hurdle here two weeks ago. Leading player.

PORTENTOSO (12) filled the same position at Chepstow finishing 2L runner-up contesting a 2m3f heavy going handicap hurdle. Rates highly.

MALAGO ROSE (9) placed third at Worcester in September over 2m4f attempting this level. May feature. DYLAN’S DOUBLE (3) could place.
