KEMPTON PARK

Race 1 – CAPTAIN MARVELLOUS /67/100

CAPTAIN MARVELLOUS (2) travelled strongly when runner-up over course and distance. Likely to improve second outing and a bold bid is anticipated.

GREAT VALLEY (4) proved popular on racecourse debut at Hereford however ran out approaching the last and failed to finish. Could bounce back with a big run.

Newcomer PUSH TO PASS (6) represents an in-form trainer and jockey combination so could be closely watched for any moves in the market.
BILLYTHEREALBIGRED (1) unseated his rider in the same race as the second mentioned. Hard to recommend.

Race 3 – FIRST STREET 2/5

Course winner FIRST STREET (2) has won four times hurdling including a G3 at Newbury. Heavily eased in grade for fences debut and looks the one to beat against this small field.

HARBOUR LAKE (3) managed to win in this grade and cannot be overlooked now chasing.

BOURBALI (1) pulled up returning to action seven days ago at Exeter. May do better here.

Race 5 – KATEIRA 4/6

Three-time hurdle winner KATEIRA (2) ended last season with a respectable second in a G1 at Ascot.Reappeared earlier this month finishing third of six in a Listed contest at Wetherby. Bold bid anticipated.

SABRINA (4) recorded her third hurdle success with an easy 6L triumph at Ayr.Returns from a lengthy absence but won resumed before so is feared raised in standard.

Course winner COQUELICOT (1) reappeared earlier this month at Newmarket finishing second of nine.In the mix.

SPACE VOYAGE (5) is a lightly raced mare who is three from five with hurdles and cannot be ruled out.

Race 7 – TAPLEY 6/1

TAPLEY (4) powered home fourteen days ago over course and distance to record a 3L success. Hard to stop winning again if in the same condition.

SMALL BAD BOB (9) registered his fourth hurdle victory producing a comfortable 4L triumph tackling this trip at Plumpton under Freddie Gordon. Thereabouts.

OSLO (7) was just denied at Uttoxeter in latest and enters calculations.
