FFOS LAS

Race 2 No6 KNEAD A WIN (Nap)

Trainer: Sam Thomas – Jockey: Dylan Johnston

KNEAD A WIN has earned in three of his four starts over hurdles and now returns from a mid season break. He chased home a decent yardstick on his latest outing at Chepstow, and has been handed a good opportunity to open his account.

Race 5 No12 FERANDO (Each Way)

Trainer: Barry Murphy – Jockey: Tom Cannon

FERANDO travelled up well at Southwell before a bad mistake at the fourth last stopped him in his tracks. It was a second run for his new trainer in quick succession, and having had time to recover from it a better showing can happen returned to this galloping track.

Race 7 No7 GLENGOLLY ( Each Way)

Trainer: Billy Aprahamian – Jockey: Gavin Sheehan

A series of mistakes cost GLENGOLLY at Huntingdon, but with a visor added following a corrective wind operation they can be eliminated. He regularly troubles the judge and should do so again.

WINCANTON

Race 5 No5 KHAFRE (Nap)

Trainer: Syd Hosie – Jockey: Paddy Hanlon

KHAFRE has done us a couple of favours, showing determination to get up late for his latest of two successes at Taunton. He’s gone up 5lb for his efforts but remains on an upwardly mobile curve, and appeals as a horse that should have more to offer.

MUSSELBURGH

Race 3 No6 EPIDAVROS (Each Way)

Trainer: Karen Scott – Jockey: Jason Hart

EPIDAVROS has yet to score at this course and went through the 2025 campaign without a win. She did pick up her fair share of place money however, and is on a workable mark for this seasonal reappearance.

Race 5 No8 VELVET WHISPER (Nap)

Trainer: Ed Bethell – Jockey: Callum Rodriguez

It took VELVET WHISPER a while to find her feet and learn the rudiments of racing, but when stepped up in trip towards the end of last season she showed she’d turned a corner. Her triumphs at Nottingham and this course and distance have teed her up for a hat-trick attempt which she can convert.
