KEMPTON PARK

Race 2 No4 GRAHAM (Nap)
Trainer: Gary Moore – Jockey: Niall Houlihan

With the Moore horses in good order following a topsy turvy season, GRAHAM is one that takes the eye in this novices’ handicap hurdle. The Time Test gelding hasn’t looked a natural in his four jumps starts but was a winner over a mile and a half on the Flat, and might have got himself onto a lenient mark.

Race 6 No3 BEFORE MIDNIGHT
Trainer: S Loxton – Jockey: Mr Ben Sutton

BEFORE MIDNIGHT contested some big handicap before joining the hunter-chase ranks and gives the impression he will have more to offer in this field. He’s with a top point-to-point outfit and will enjoy very accomplished assistance from the saddle.

LINGFIELD PARK

Race 2 No8 POMME POMME (Each Way)
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: Rose Dawes

POMME POMME is related to a useful middle distance winner and has shown promise in her work ahead of this first run. In what looks a weak affair she has the potential to trouble the judge.

Race 6 No8 THE BITTER MOOSE (Nap)
Trainer: Patrick Chamings – Jockey: Hollie Doyle

On only his sixth run on the all-weather THE BITTER MOOSE is out to confirm how much more adept he is operating on an artificial surface. He was unbeaten in two AW outings as a two-year-old and in three tries last year went 422. This is his first race for his trainer after a more than five months break, but if he’s ready he should win.

FAKENHAM

Race 2 No1 KELIJOE (Nap)
Trainer: Stuart Edmunds – Jockey: Sean Bowen

KELIJOE is the winner of a bumper in the French provinces where she also finished in the frame on her sole Flat start. Her connections seem to have found a straightforward task for her on this debut under Rules, while she’s an athletic type who should handle the tight turns.

Race 3 No3 JAMAICAINE
Trainer: Neil Mulholland – Jockey: Conor O’Farrell

Recent winners Loud And Proud and Rock On Rita lock horns in this mares’ handicap chase but the fly in the ointment is JAMAICANE who carries the same colours as the latter. The selection was going well within herself when exiting a Fontwell handicap hurdle at the second-last and is undoubtedly the dark horse in the field now switched to fences. It’s hard to know if she’s the JP McManus second string, but the market will surely decide that.

Race 6 No5 RED DELTA
Trainer: Fiona Needham – Jockey: Mr John Dawson

Three times point scorer RED DELTA disappointed on his only outing in this sphere but had cheek pieces added when delivering at Charm park last month. With the headgear applied again, he could follow-up as he will receive strong assistance from the saddle.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 1 No1 DOUGLAS DC
Trainer: Tony Carroll – Jockey: Molly Gunn

First time blinkers brought about an improved performance from DOUGLAS DC on his fourth outing of the year, and while he remains a maiden on the Flat he’s earned on over 30 per cent of his races and wouldn’t need to find too much more progression to open his account. He is preferred to recent Lingfield winner Jailbird

Race 3 No2 NOBLEMAN (Nap)
Trainer: Andrew Balding – Jockey: Oisin Murphy

Having failed by inches to get off the mark at Kempton, Sir Percy colt NOBLEMAN is very much the one to beat racing over the same trip, and with Oisin Murphy in his saddle. He will start at prohibitive odds, but should make no mistake.
