EXETER

Race 3 No5 YOUHADMEATHELLO
Trainer: Philip Hobbs – Jockey: Micheal Nolan

The Hobbs stable is amongst the winners and holds the key to this with YOUHADMEATHELLO, who shaped with a deal of promise when second on Rules debut at Hereford and is going to be a lot more streetwise for this clash with BLACKSAMSSENORITA.

Race 5 No1 MINNIEMUM (Nap)
Trainer: Henry Daly – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

The diminutive and well named MINNIEMUM has been forced to skip a couple of good openings in which to make the switch to fences, but that could prove a blessing as this contest has cut up in her favour. For a small individual she’s shown a keen appetite for jumping the larger obstacles at home, and can now transfer that proficiency onto the course itself.

CARLISLE

Race 2 No7 RAFFLES WONDER
Trainer: Rebecca Menzies – Jockey: Nathan Moscrop

Having won more or less as he liked when last seen at Sedgefield, RAFFLES WONDER is burdened with a 6lb rise, but is the type who can cope with it in this One Man Series Final over two miles. He’s subsequently had surgery to rectify a breathing ailment, which if successful should ensure he again gets into the shake-up.

Race 4 No6 ARTIC ROW (Each Way)
Trainer: Nick Alexander – Jockey: Conor O’Farrell

ARTIC ROW has had some jumping issues whilst also becoming unreliable but has consequently been given a chance by the assessor. He’s away from his favourite hunting ground of Ayr, but if taking to this much stiffer track can cause problems for top weight O’CONNELL, who has to give him 18lbs.

Race 5 No4 DUBAI DAYS
Trainer: Nick Alexander – Jockey: Bruce Lynn

DUBAI DAYS is enjoying a rich vein of form and looks to make this veterans’ chase a third success from his last four outings. From a stable that won the corresponding race 12 months ago, he successfully returned at Haydock last month following an 11-month break, and if turning up in similar mood will be hard to stop.

Race 6 No2 FOLLOW CHARLIE (Nap)
Trainer: Mike Smith – Jockey: Gavin Sheehan

FOLLOW CHARLIE showed with his latest earning run that he’s a horse on the brink of a breakthrough success, and today looks the right time to catch him. Not only is he back onto his previous winning mark, but he will relish this shorter trip, while Sheehan is an eye taking booking for him.
