AYR

Race 1 No6 STONEACRE JOE (Each Way)

Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: David Allan

STONEACRE JOE started at 100-1 when second on his seasonal return at Doncaster but there was no fluke about the performance. If he progresses as he should, the Showcasing gelding can cause problems for odds-on RAILWAYMAN.

Race 3 No8 TRAIS FLUORS (Each Way)

Trainer: Linda Perratt – Jockey: Lauren Young

Thirteen race winner TRAIS FLUORS couldn’t justify the support that came for him at Newcastle last time, but now back on turf he’s capable of a better showing. Though approaching his teenage years the gelding has become well handicapped, making him hard to ignore.

Race 5 No7 STARLINER (Nap)

Trainer: Linda Perratt – Jockey: William Pyle

STARLINER finished off his race strongly at Hamilton on Sunday when a length and a quarter fourth. It was an eye taking effort, and in saddling him quickly his trainer looks like she means business.

HEREFORD

Race 1 No3 PETTY CASH (Nap)

Trainer: Henry Daly – Jockey: David Bass

PETTY CASH comes with risks attached, but if close to his paper price is one to take seriously. Breathing issues have marred his progress in a light campaign, but they could be eradicated by the addition of a tongue tie. He’s normally ridden patiently and I expect him to make his challenge from off the pace.

Race 3 No1 I SPY A DIVA

Trainer: Kim Bailey – Jockey: Ciaran Gethings

Telescope mare I SPY A DIVA looked to be running into form when last seen at Windsor and now makes a big jump up the distance ladder. The five times winner has had issues, but if fit for this return from a break should prove hard to beat.

Race 6 No9 PRAIRIE QUEEN (Each Way)

Trainer: Sue Gardner – Jockey: Sean Houlihan

Sound jumping is the hallmark of PRAIRIE QUEEN who though lacking gears at the finish will benefit from a return to fences. If she gets into a rhythm in front the six-year-old should prove hard to keep out of the money.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 3 No4 TINSEL (Nap)

Trainer: Hughie Morrison – Jockey: Tom Marquand

This looks a very good opportunity for TINSEL to make a winning return. The Lope Y Fernandez colt is 4lb higher than when scoring here back in December, but that was a marked step up for the Nap who will have benefitted from his subsequent break.

Race 6 No2 MAGNA

Trainer: Tony Carroll- Jockey: Rossa Ryan

MAGNA has shown versatility to win over 1200 metres at this course as well as over 1000 metres and looked good value for her latest success. With her tail up and a top pilot doing the steering she can complete a hat-trick.
