KEMPTON PARK

Race 1 No4 PRIVATE AFFAIR
Trainer: Richard Hannon – Jockey: Sean Levey

Soldier’s Call colt PRIVATE AFFAIR was doing his best work at the finish when second on his introduction at Newbury. The form was let down when the winner ran poorly at Ascot last week, but granted normal progression the selection should take care of business in a race that has cut up favourably for him.

Race 2 No4 CREST OF DISTINCTION (Nap)
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: David Probert

Channon fires a twin attack at this prize with CREST OF DISTINCTION looking to overcome a tricky outside draw as the stable’s number one. The Kodiac colt was a late plunge when third on his Doncaster debut last back end and then narrowly denied at this course in December. He’s wintered well and should give a good account.

Race 4 No5 ISABELLA CASTILE (Each Way)
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: George Bass

ISABELLA CASTILE was over faced in a Listed race at Newbury after opening her account at Windsor. She ran well on handicap debut at the Newmarket Craven meeting and that run has brought her forward. On this first run on Polytrack and from a plum draw she should get onto the podium.

BATH

Race 4 No7 BANANA
Trainer: Scott Dixon – Jockey: Joey Haynes

This is a 44th attempt for BANANA to open her account but possibly one of her best chances. In her favour is that she has only run eight times on grass, and after an earning comeback run at Yarmouth she brings the best form to the table.

Race 6 No1 ZAPPATA (Nap)
Trainer: George Scott – Jockey: Liam Wright

ZAPPATA carries a double penalty after scoring at Wetherby and Redcar where he was impressive on each occasion. He seems to be improving too quickly for the handicapper to keep up with him, and should have little difficulty in completing a fine hat-trick.

BEVERLEY

Race 3 No4 LAST SHAMARDAL (Nap)
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: Callum Rodriguez

LAST SHAMARDAL has twice in the past week been scratched owing to fast ground. His connections will again inspect the course before green lighting him to run, but should he take part he can make this a third triumph from only five career starts in the colours of Jaber Abdullah.

Race 5 No2 TIRIAC (Each Way)
Trainer: Paul Midgley – Jockey: Mark Winn

TIRIAC took a walk in the market, and from a poor draw never looked like getting in a blow on debut for his trainer at Ripon. He may get more favourable ground for this second start of 2025, and isn’t badly treated should he decide to put his best foot forward.

WARWICK

Race 5 No4 PEP TALKING (Nap)
Trainer: Billy Aprahamian- Jockey: Gavin Sheehan

PEP TALKING has proved the flagship of the Aprahamian stable with four success over fences from his last six outings. Although his two visits to this course over hurdles and fences have been fruitless, it’s a track he should excel at, and with his tail up he’s strongly fancied to complete a hat-trick under a jockey that’s built up a good rapport with him.

WINDSOR

Race 1 No1 TRIPLE DOUBLE A (Nap)
Trainer: Hugo Palmer – Jockey: Oisin Murphy

TRIPLE DOUBLE A has looked a different horse since switching to grass and running in handicaps. He’s been a well supported winner of both his starts this year at Redcar and Yarmouth, and is poised to remain unbeaten on turf, and to complete a hat-trick.

Race 7 No3 HARLINGTON
Trainer: Joe Tickle – Jockey: Rossa Ryan

HARLINGTON has troubled the judge without winning in six outings since his last victory at Wolverhampton in the winter. He’s proved to be a real money spinner since joining his trainer, and showed with his earning run on grass on comeback that he is equally as good on that surface. With Rossa Ryan on his back he can regain the winning habit.
