How can I verify my account

We are required by law to verify your identity, using two forms of identification for ID and address before you can play with us. There are three reasons why we ask you to provide your ID:

• To check that you are old enough to gamble
• To check whether or not you have self-excluded from gambling
• To confirm your identity

There are two ways you can submit your documents to us:

1. Directly Uploading Documents – The quickest and most secure way to submit your documents is through the “Documents” section under the ‘My Profile’ section in your account.
2. Email – You also have the option of emailing your documents to us. Send both your proof of ID and Address to support@hollywoodbets.co.uk. We will email you back once the verification process is complete.

What documentation do i need to upload

Please send any 1 of the below documents:

• Current signed passport

• Original birth certificate (UK birth certificate issued within 12 months of the date of birth in full form including those issued by UK authorities overseas such as Embassies High Commissions and HM Forces)

• EEA member state identity card (which can also be used as evidence of address if it carries this)

• Current UK or EEA photocard driving licence – front and back

• Drivers licence

• CSCS cards

• Benefit book or original notification letter from Benefits Agency

• Firearms or shotgun certificate

• Residence permit issued by the Home Office to EEA nationals on sight of own country passport

• National identity card bearing a photograph of the applicant

Proof Of Address:

Please send any 1 of the below documents:

• Utility bill (gas, electric, satellite television, landline phone bill) issued within the last six months

• Broadband statement 

• Local authority council tax bill for the current council tax year

• Current UK driving licence (but only if not used for ID evidence)

• Bank, Building Society or Credit Union statement or passbook dated within the last six months

• Original mortgage statement from a recognised lender issued for the last full year

• Solicitors letter within the last six months confirming recent house purchase or land registry confirmation of address

• Council or housing association rent card or tenancy agreement for the current year

• Benefit book or original notification letter from Benefits Agency (but not if used as proof of name)

• HMRC self-assessment letters or tax demand dated within the current financial year

• Electoral Register entry

• NHS Medical card or letter of confirmation from GP’s practise of registration with the surgery

We do not accept mobile phone bills, provisional drivers licences and credit card statements for address verification.

Document Checklist

For proof of ID, please ensure:

• Document is clear and readable

• All four corners are visible

• Original documents are used (not photocopied or scanned)

• All photographs and signatures are clearly visible

• Document must be government-issued

For proof of Address, please ensure:

• Document is clear and visible

• Document issued within the last six months

• Document contains your full name and address (PO boxes are not accepted)

How long will it take to verify my account

We always aim to have documents verified within 30 minutes of submission. Please note, however, that this process can take up to 48 hours depending on volumes.

Why haven’t my free spins/bets not been credited

Free spins and free bets are credited within 24 hours from the time the qualifying spins or bets have been placed as per the terms and conditions.

What is the maximum withdrawal amount at Hollywoodbets

• Non-Sport and Specialty Bets £5,000 Includes bets on media and television events such as Eurovision Song Contest, Big Brother etc.

How long does Hollywoodbets take to process withdrawals

Withdrawals can take up to 24 hours to process. However, withdrawals made using Safecharge (a.k.a. VISA/Mastercard) will reach your account within two hours of being approved by our team.
