PLUMPTON

Race 1 No3 NAP HAND
Trainer: Alan King – Jockey: Tom Cannon

Three times turf scorer NAP HAND has made a smooth transition to jumping. Though not the biggest, he’s earned on both starts and can now show he’s just as effective switched to a left-handed track.

Race 4 No9 GAYE LEGACY (Each Way)
Trainer: Tom Symonds – Jockey: Benjamin Poste

GAYE LEGACY makes abundant appeal getting weight from each of her rivals on just a second outing of the campaign. Related to some very smart hurdlers from the Rimell dynasty, she ran into the money on a needed outing at Sandown from which she can progress, and it’s hard to see her not being involved.

Race 7 No4 LYLE VIEW (Nap)
Trainer: Neil Mulholland – Jockey: Richie McLernon

LYLE VIEW left previous form behind when rocking up at Southwell for which he’s been handed a 9lb hike in the weights. His trainer is going through a hot streak, and though likely to start at prohibitive odds the five-year-old should make no mistake.

AYR

Race 2 No5 MARLACOO
Trainer: Tom Lacey – Jockey: Stan Sheppard

MARLACOO brings the best form to the table in the long hike from the Midlands. He frequently attracts support, and after being beaten as favourite on his last two outings can now put the record straight.

Race 5 No6 GEGE VILLE (Nap)
Trainer: Nicky Richards – Jockey: Conor Rabbitt

In a deep race GEGE VILLE can prove the answer. There aren’t many miles on his racing clock, while when scoring at Haydock he was coming back from an 18 month absence. His stable is amongst the winners, and as long as he avoids the bounce factor he should follow-up.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 1 No8 NORTHERN CRACKSMAN (Nap)
Trainer: Mike Appleby – Jockey: Mr Henry Main

NORTHERN CRACKSMAN goes into bat for a new trainer after seemingly turning a corner in his career. He opened his account at the fifteenth time of asking in authoritative style at Newcastle and was equally impressive on his latest start at Southwell. Appleby is renowned for eking improvement from his purchases, and if that’s the case today his new charge should comp, eye a fine hat-trick.

Race 4 No9 SEND IN THE CLOUDS (Each Way)
Trainer: Tony Carroll – Jockey: Jack Doughty

SEND IN THE CLOUDS won three times on grass in the summer of 2023 since when he’s been given kid glove handling and raced only four more times and all on the all-weather. He’s been given a chance by the assessor, and with his barn in such good form can raise his game for a frame finish

Race 6 No5 SARAFINA MSHAIRI
Trainer: Edward Smyth-osbourne – Jockey: Jack Doughty

Cable Bay filly SARAFINA MSHAIRI has troubled the judge on all four career starts, and makes her fourth consecutive visit to Dunstall Park. She drops back to the minimum trip from the rail, and if taking charge early might be hard to peg back.

Race 8 No1 RAY GUN
Trainer: Jamie Osbourne – Jockey: Saffie Osborne

Under a 6lb penalty for his Kempton success last week RAY GUN can serve it up in this three-year-old only race. That switch to handicaps appeared to show the Gun Runner gelding in a different light, and he should prove hard to beat.
