YAYA MARIA is in good form. She showed good speed over 1000m last time, but was outrun late by Pomodoro Magic. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. She finished third in her only attempt over this C&D. The daughter of Pomodoro is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back.

FERRARI ICE ran a good race when third in the Non-Black Type Fairview Mile last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He has won twice and finished second once from four starts over this C&D. He is in very good form and if Keagan de Melo is able to switch him off early, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

CRUISE CONTROL took on much stronger in the Grade 1 Pongracz Cape Flying Championship last time. The son of Querari has won five times from six starts on this course and is unbeaten from two outings over this C&D. Rachel Venniker takes the 1.5kgs off his back. He is likely to race on the speed and should be too good for this field.

DAME OF FLAMES was not disgraced when facing stronger in her last start over 1400m on this course. She should have finished closer to the winner that day as she had to be steadied at the 200m mark. She has won once and finished third once from three starts over this C&D. The daughter of Futura takes a drop in class and from pole position, she should notch up her third career victory.
