John Dobson’s men will be eager to exact revenge on Cardiff following their disappointing 22-16 loss to the Welsh side this past weekend.

The Stormers welcomed back two stalwarts to training this week in captain Ruhan Nel and speedster Seabelo Senatla. Aside from the long-term injury to livewire Cobus Reniach, the franchise is now close to full-strength heading into the URC knockouts.

“Ruhan is back as the captain, and he leads the defence, it’s massive,” confirmed Dobson.

“I think we’ve really missed Seabelo Senatla the whole season.

“He is one of those players who gets the people out of their seats, and he will be back for the quarterfinal and maybe one or two others.

“To have five or six guys coming on strength and it allows us to probably choose as close to our strongest team without the long-term ones like Cobus Reinach.”

The Stormers have a decent home record in the URC this season, having only lost to the Sharks and Connacht.
