Zverev, who was the third seed, started strong and won the first game by breaking Djokovic, who was seeded sixth. At 4-3, Zverev faced a tough point but managed to keep his serve and won the first set.
In the second set, Djokovic stayed calm and broke Zverev’s serve early. He also saved a break point in the next game and then took a 4-1 lead.

The German man’s game got weaker in the third set. Djokovic used clever drop shots to break Zverev’s serve twice and take the lead. In the fourth set, Djokovic broke Zverev’s serve again in the first game, but Zverev fought back later in the set.

At 2-4, Zverev had a chance to break Djokovic’s serve after a long rally of 41 shots, but Djokovic won with a passing shot.

Zverev did well to save four match points when Djokovic was trying to finish the match, but he couldn’t break Djokovic’s serve again. After three hours and 20 minutes, Djokovic finally won.These two tennis stars had some amazing matches, with Novak Djokovic having won 8 out of 13 against Alexander Zverev.

The 38-year-old Serbian told the media that age is not on his side as he has been struggling with his form. But this match is one of those matches that brought out that thrill in him, making it one to remember.

“My way of playing is based on running, but at my age, it’s not so easy to run so much. I tried to impose my rhythm with one or two drop shots.

“Tonight is one of those reasons why I still keep playing.”

Novak Djokovic will face Jannik Sinner on Friday in a semi-final match. The 23-year-old recently returned to court after serving a three-month suspension by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) after two positive tests for clostebol.
