Jon Rahm has admitted he is not yet certain about his future plans after after LIV Golf filed for bankruptcy protection last week.
Rahm and fellow major winners Bryson DeChambeau and Cameron Smith are contemplating what would happen next as the breakaway league tries to create a new circuit for next year.
Speaking ahead of competing at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, Rahm said: “There’s a long legal process they have to go through before a lot of things fall into place.
“I really can’t give you an answer right now.”
The PGA Tour have set up a revamped season in 2028 and chief executive Brian Rolapp said there were no guarantees that LIV’s biggest names will be welcomed back back into the fold.
“In terms of where we are today, we are not currently contemplating a returning member program like the one you saw in January,” Rolapp said.
Brooks Koepka took a deal that brought him back to the US tour at the start of the year but the arrangement was rejected by DeChambeau, Rahm and Smith at the time.
