BRIGHTON
Race 4 No8 TWILIGHT GUEST ( Each Way)
Trainer: George Margarson – Jockey: S D Bowen
TWILIGHT GUEST has struggled in four outings this season to recapture the very good form he showed in 2025. It’s interesting however that his purple patch happened at this stage of the season, and included back-to-back triumphs at this course on the way to him completing a hat-trick. It would be no surprise to see him raise his game.
Race 5 No2 HAVANA MOJITO (Nap)
Trainer: John Gallagher – Jockey: Jack Callan
HAVANA MOJITO has given it a good crack in finishing second on his last two starts at this course. It’s more than a year since his last victory, but the recent evidence strongly suggests he’s ready to win again.
SALISBURY
Race 1 No8 SQUADRON
Trainer: Ralph Beckett- Jockey: Colin Keane
SQUADRON is a blue blooded son of Frankel who can with a debut success underline the quality of his trainer’s juvenile team. He’s been giving every indictation in his work at home that he will develop into a colt to follow.
Race 4 No3 JEL PEPPER
Trainer: Oliver Cole – Jockey: Lewis Edmunds
JEL PEPPER has contested two Listed races this season, and while underwhelming when moved back into a Class 3 at Wndsor he can turn that around on this completely different track, and take the spoils at the main expense of ADDISON GREY.
Race 6 No1 GONE BY (Nap)
Trainer: Ralph Beckett – Jockey: Hector Crouch
In the same colours, GONE BY can underline her high potential by beating MYTHICAL VALENTINE in a race that’s cup up. The Nap scored doing handstands at Ripon and although entitled to brush aside her inferior opponents she could hardly have been more impressive.
MUSSELBURGH
Race 7 No9 SIXCOR (Each Way)
At the end of a tough card for punting SIXCOR might be an answer that represents value. His fourth and latest start of 2026 here last week was easily his best, suggesting he can soon add to his eight career successes.
STRATFORD
Race 6 No6 QUEENS GLANCE (Nap)
Trainer: Mark Rimell – Jockey: Mr Harry Rimell
Greenness cost QUEENS GLANCE dear on her first run under Rules at Worcester where she looked clueless before staying on strongly to make the frame when the penny finally dropped. If she’s learned from that experience, and she should, the Passing Glance mare can trouble the best of them as the only bet on this card.
FFOS LAS
Race 2 No1 DARK WHISPER ( Nap)
Trainer: David Menuisier – Jockey: Billy Loughnane
DARK WHISPER troubled the judge at Newmarket and Nottingham but rather spoiled his chance on the second occasion with a slow start. He’s on the hunt for compensation for a trainer whose patience is paying off with his select number of runners.
Race 4 No9 RED MOON
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: George Bass
This bottom grade handicap sees RED MOON receiving weight from the field and presents him with a great chance to avenge his defeat over course and distance earlier in the month. In trying to back up his Salisbury success the gelding took too long to reach top gear, but he was bearing down on the horses that beat him in the closing stages.
Race 6 No9 ADRIAN (Each Way)
Trainer: Robbie Llewellyn – Jockey: Kieran O’Neill
Although it’s four years since has last success, ADRIAN signalled with a near miss over this course and distance last time that his long wait for further success is earning its end. If he can run up to the same level the grey can thwart SAPPHIRE SIROCCO from following up a recent triumph.
