PONTEFRACT

Race 7 No1 ANIFICAS GLORY (Nap)

Trainer: Peter Winks – Jockey: Cian Horgan

ANIFICAS GLORY enjoys a perfect slot in the gate for this race over 1600 metres and has strong claims to complete a hat-trick following her back-to-back triumphs at Beverley. She can confirm her superiority at that track over FAR AHEAD.

FFOS LAS

Race 5 No3 ORCHARD

Trainer: Warren Greatrex – Jockey: Edward Greatrex

Father and son combination can hit the target in this low grade handicap with ORCHARD. The selection was returning from a lengthy absence when third at this course, and beaten only a length. He was easy to back, has improved for the run and can turn the tables on GREY SOUL.

Race 7 No8 IBN SIRIN ( Each Way)

Trainer: Harry Charlton- Jockey: Edward Greatrex

If there’s a potential improver in the field for this Class6 handicap then IBN SIRIN could be the one. The selection is a big individual who covers plenty of ground, but has been too keen in his races. This is his first race since being gelded, and it will be interesting to see whether the operation has taken the fizz out of his bottle.

STRATFORD

Race 2 No5 RETETI

Trainer: Sheena West – Jockey: Marco Ghiani Goldstein

RETETI regularly takes away a cheque and that looks on the cards in a race where he’s getting a fair bit of weight from all but one of his rivals. He wasn’t beaten far by Goodwin Face at Plumpton, and this seems a very good opportunity for him to open his account.

Race 5 No2 NICKELFORCE (Nap)

Trainer: Ben Case – Jockey: Harry Bannister

NICKELFORCE stormed back to his best when powering clear of his foes at Fakenham. Around this similarly tight track he’s fancied to cash in under a rider that knows how to get the best out of him.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 1 No1 EXTENDED ORDER (Nap)

Trainer: Eve Johnson Houghton – Jockey: Charles Bishop

EXTENDED ORDER wasn’t stopping at the end of his Brighton win and should appreciate stretching out to 1400 metres for a stable that’s mustard with its juveniles. He’s learned plenty from that initial experience and can defy a 7lb penalty.

Race 4 No10 TUMISHI

Trainer: James Fanshawe – Jockey: Daniel Muscutt

TUMISHI was green in the early to middle stages of his Nottingham debut, only for the penny to drop as he stayed on doing his best work at the finish to claim a minor cheque. With his yard amongst the winners it would be no surprise to see him open his account.

WNDSOR

Race 2 No2 CAPTAINCY

Trainer: Clive Cox – Jockey: Rossa Ryan

CAPTAINCY represents a very good Leicester race that has worked out, with its winner Libertango going on to land the AlbanyStakes at Royal Ascot. Granted normal progression the Havana Grey colt should convert, and for a stable that houses some useful two-year-olds.

Race 5 No4 GREEK ORDER (Each Way)

Trainer: Michael Bell – Jockey: Rossa Ryan

The much travelled GREEK ORDER has often failed to live up to expectations but he was only just out of the money at Sandown last time, and is handicapped to win this if Rossa Ryan can get a tune out of him.
