LEICESTER

Race 1 – CARRADOS 33/20

CARRADOS is a debutant from a yard who can ready a first-time out runner. Likely to be popular in the betting. One to note.

Tolerance is another newcomer who could prove competitive. Include.
Gobsmacked finished 5.5L third debuting and could improve for the experience.

Race 2 – BECCALI 1/1

BECCALI is a well-bred newcomer who could appreciate this test. Likely contender.

Jorge Alvares was beaten 3.5L third earlier this month and can build on that effort.

Aegean Sea is a first-time out runner by Kingman. Worth a check in the market.

Race 5 – SPIRIT OF THE ROSE 11/2

SPIRIT OF THE ROSE showed promise in three maiden runs on the AW earlier this year. May have more to offer now switching to handicaps for the first time.

Mammy placed twice on AW recently. Worth giving another chance back on turf.

Cypriot Diaspora won tackling 5f two runs back before finishing third of four subsequently. Brings winning form over this distance.

LINGFIELD

Race 2 – INVINCIBLE SPEED 28/10

INVINCIBLE SPEED won by 4L a Wolverhampton handicap in January. Will be all the better for a recent outing at Kempton and remains capable of better.

Mart returned to winning ways on turf eleven days ago. Won over course and distance in the past and up to a career-high mark looks dangerous to underestimate.

Miami Heat was a winner at Kempton (7f) in November. Made a pleasing stable debut at Windsor recently. Consider adopting first-time blinkers.

Race 5 – CAMBRIA LEGEND 91/100

CAMBRIA LEGEND justified odds-on favouritism attempting a 1m2 1/4f Haydock handicap. The runner-up has won since boosting form and a 9lb rise in weights might underestimate his potential.

Crimson Road made steady progress among maiden and novice company last year. Managed a creditable third from this mark on handicap debut. Respect.

Character Testing dropped out tamely at Yarmouth last start. Won AW maiden the time before. May resume progress.
