WETHERBY

Race 1 – YES I’M MALI 91/100

YES I’M MALI is expected to show plenty of speed on racecourse debut in the Bristol Street Motors Ebf Restricted Maiden Stakes. By Sands of Mali and a bold bid anticipated.

Territorial Knight was unable to get involved on first career start at York. Finds easier task and could show sharp improvement.

Crimson Lad holds each-way claims after a disappointing debut at Doncaster, while Bobby Jones has already raced twice and experience could be an advantage.

Race 3 – TRANSITIONING 9/4

TRANSITIONING sets the form standard as a debut winner at Doncaster over seven furlongs in early May. Remains over the same distance and may go back-to-back.

Shamardal Star started the new campaign with a second at Doncaster. Seventh at the same track subsequently and a bold bid is anticipated.

Tiaraqueen was a useful runner-up at Kempton Park when debuting. But was disappointing subsequently, so better is expected.

Apocalyx holds each-way claims making seasonal reappearance. Third career outing.

Race 6 – OWN ACCORD 7/2

OWN ACCORD is of obvious interest in the Be The Best Dressed Lady Handicap after getting up in the closing stages to score over this course on her second public outing.

The ground is set to be a fair bit faster this time, but everything about that run suggested there is more improvement to come and that a step up from seven furlongs to a mile should suit.

Race 8 – LASER FOCUS 7/2

LASER FOCUS is fancied to complete a hat-trick for the in-form James Owen yard in the Kelling Group Specialist Hire Experts Apprentice Handicap following nice victories at Windsor and Lingfield on a sound surface.

Life On The Rocks bids for a hat-trick and remains on a credible mark after scoring by an impressive six lengths tackling this trip at Ayr.

Chilled Out carries top weight seeking third consecutive success. Favourite when taking a Great Yarmouth event when resuming.
