SOUTHWELL

Race 1 – WILLIAM EWART 2/1

WILLIAM EWART (7) looked to be in good form only finding one rival too good at Worcester. Made the frame again at Fakenham. Great chance.

YA KNOW YASEFF (5) was pulled up when well-fancied at Hereford on previous start. Worth another go tackling softer ground.

MACKIE DEE (4) may build on a moderate third at Market Rasen over 2m5 1/2f. Not to be dismissed for that run. THE LION DANCER (1) shows talent if on a going day. Not been the easiest to train and isn’t getting any younger.

Race 2 – NOCHE NEGRA 5/4

NOCHE NEGRA (3) is going better than ever this season. The last time out winner at Catterick will prove hard to beat.

ROYAL MER (2) was unable to follow up a success back at the track delivering subsequent start. Holds ability so must be respected.

OUT ON THE TEAR (1) managed to place looking much improved at Sedgefield. In the mix if in same form. RAFFERTY (4) warrants another chance with fences.

Race 3 – SAGEBURG COUNTY 2/1

SAGEBURG COUNTY (2) previously placed among better company and sets the standard in this winnable-looking contest.

IMPERIAL BEDE (3) has been going well this campaign making the frame. Mark looks workable and rates a fair chance.

HEARTBREAK KID (1) struggled of late but holds talent to turn it around and could prove dangerous if on a going day. KEY COMMANDER (4) produced a good effort to finish sixth at Warwick over 3m1f and is in contention with that run under his belt.

Race 4 – STAVVY 4/1

STAVVY (9) brings useful flat experience and can be considered if taking to hurdles on initial attempt.

DESERT HALO (2) is having his first start for the Richard Bandey stable. Previously made the frame on the flat and rates a genuine chance.

COUNTRY PARK (1) scored by a head tackling a point to point at Quakerstown. Knows how to win though might find this trip on the short side. ROCKCHOEUR (8) brings a nice pedigree. Yet to see the track so market can guide as to chances.

Race 5 – SEA GREY 56/100

SEA GREY (2) maintains excellent form so far this season and looks a natural with hurdles. Likely to produce a second hurdle win.

RUMOURSAREFLYING (10) did well in a pair of novice hurdles and could strike. Set to make presence felt tackling another winnable race.

MOUNT GALLION (7) has been unable to secure a placing this season when hurdling. Indicated talent so might be amongst the placings soon.

BACKBYJET (1) took a step backward from a winning effort at Catterick. May receive more favourable conditions this time around.

Race 6 – IT’S MAISY 9/4

IT’S MAISY (2) remains unbeaten this campaign after scoring again at Catterick. Can continue the winning streak.

SHESUPINCOURT (1) wasn’t suited to the drop back in trip at Leicester. Finished second at the track last time out. Could be capable of more.

HEY DAY BABY (6) produced a moderate effort in a novice hurdle over 2m at Plumpton. In the mix.

INNISFREE LASS (4) did not complete at Catterick resuming from a break. Forgive that performance as likely fitter now.

Race 7 – DAARIS 15/10

DAARIS (1) looks to build on a solid third at Doncaster over 2m1/2f and will take some stopping among this company.

CHURCHMAN (2) narrowly missed out on a placing last time at Ludlow attempting 2m. Freshened and the mark looks lenient.

JUMBO VESTE VERTE (4) has progressed throughout the season. Showed talent to finish third in latest and warrants serious consideration.

WE GOT YOUR BACK (3) is struggling to feature this campaign. Tackles an easier contest and holds place claims.
