Race 1 – DIRE WOLF 5/2

DIRE WOLF looked to get outpaced over a mile when fourth earlier this month, so tackling an additional two furlongs is a positive in the BetMGM: It’s Showtime Handicap.

The Showcasing filly has been making steady progress in five outings to date, with her latest length defeat representing her best effort yet for Adam West.

Given the way she stayed on that day, she is worth a try over middle distances.

Race 2 – LANDLORDTOTHESTARS 11/2

Back-to-back victories await LANDLORDTOTHESTARS in the Bet £10 Get £40 At BetMGM Handicap at Lingfield.

The four-year-old has hit a purple patch for James Evans this winter, winning two of his three runs in the last month or so.

Victorious over a mile and half a furlong at the beginning of December, he was beaten just a head in third next time under a 2lb higher mark.

He again had to work hard for his most recent win, prevailing by just a short head over odds-on favourite Cephalus after a proper battle in the finish.

Landlordtothestars is now 8lb higher than his December win but it is hard to go against him while he is in such good form.

Race 5 – OUR MELODY 1/1

OUR MELODY looks to have a leading chance in the Win 2,000,000 With Betmgm’s Golden Goals Handicap.

She only lost out by a head on her most recent outing in Wolverhampton and definitely has decent claims here if she is ready to go following a short break.

Her form has been mixed since she finished fifth here in October, with the second at Wolverhampton preceded by a last place finish at Newcastle.

However, a small field of five here should give her a good chance of being in the mix in the final stages of the race.

Race 7 – PINK LILY 11/2

PUNK LILY looks to continue her fine Lingfield form in the Betuk. Home Of The Acca-Fenwa Handicap.

On her five career outings at Lingfield, Pink Lily has won twice and came second once. Her run here just 11 days ago was a good effort, finishing in second, just one and a quarter lengths behind Shalfa.

Given her previous form at Lingfield, it is hard to look past a good showing from Pink Lily.
