YORK

Race 2 – MRBLUESKY  7/1

MRBLUESKY looked in need of the experience when fifth tackling soft ground at Redcar on debut.

Richard Fahey and Oisin Orr have both been in excellent form of late and with the step up to six furlongs expected to suit this son of Cotai Glory is selected to add to their recent impressive record.

Comfortable Brighton maiden winner Isla Bella could give a bold sight for the in-form George Boughey team.

I Love Dad displayed distinct ability finishing third on debut at Goodwood and could feature if building on that effort.

Race 3 – ALFA KELLENIC 3/1

Taking a sizeable step up in grade, ALFA KELLENIC could prove equal to the task in the British Ebf Supporting Racing With Pride Fillies’ Handicap.

The Craig Lidster-trained Havana Grey filly looked well ahead of her mark when an authoritative winner over six furlongs at Thirsk and can secure a hat-trick under her penalty.

First-time cheekpieces saw Jumbeau return to winning ways at Windsor.

Thereabouts with the second runner that day subsequently filling the same spot in a competitive handicap at Epsom.

Midream is unexposed and looks interesting making handicap debut with Jamie Spencer booked.

Katey Kontent must enter calculations after a narrow success at Windsor.

Race 4 – RIVER SEINE 9/4

RIVER SEINE is fancied to break her maiden in the Juddmonte EBF Fillies’ Restricted Novice Stakes.

Karl Burke’s filly ran keenly when a beaten odds-on favourite at Carlisle, having run with promise first time up at Newmarket.

Race 5 – PENZANCE 8/1

PENZANCE can hopefully transfer his prolific all-weather form to turf in the Seat Unique Handicap.

The four-year-old won four consecutive races before being beaten into second by the decidedly useful Elegant Man on all-weather finals day at Newcastle on Good Friday.

He is up 2lb in the weights since that career-best effort, but is one to keep onside for the excellent Mick Appleby.

SANDOWN

Race 3 – ATTACK 3/1

ATTACK can go one better in the British EBF Maiden Stakes.
The Wootton Bassett colt was held up on his racecourse debut at Yarmouth before being asked for an effort three furlongs out but found 6/4 favourite El Burhan too good by one and a quarter lengths.

Sure to be better for that experience, John and Thady Gosden’s two-year-old will again be partnered by Osin Murphy and can get the better of stablemate Aegean Sea.

Race 4 – BORN RULER 9/2

BORN RULER can finally get back into the winner’s enclosure in the Book Your Coral-Eclipse Tickets Now Handicap.

The four-year-old son of Kingman returned from a 223-day break at Lingfield last month and ran freely when being beaten into second by Party Island over a mile and a half.

He was dropped back in trip to 10 furlongs for his turf debut at Ayr and again had to settle for second as he trailed in half a length behind Pol Roger, with the race not panning out in his favour.

Raised 2lb since those efforts Sir Mark Prescott’s gelding can come on for the run and get back to winning ways.

Race 5 – CRIMSON ROAD 33/10

CRIMSON ROAD shed the maiden tag when contesting a 1m2f turf handicap at Lingfield in this grade and will be a leading player set to follow up in the Style Awards Return To Ladies Day Handicap.

Devoirs Choice went well at Haydock a week ago finishing a smart second in a lower level 1m2f handicap. Big chance with progress likely.

Screaming Eagle, who has Murphy in the seat, produced a good fourth among this company at Newmarket over the distance, so will be in the mix with the interesting Signalman.

Race 7 – COCK AND BULL 5/2

COCK AND BULL can continue his impressive record since being gelded in the Racing & Music Nights At Sandown Park Handicap.

The three-year-old grey struggled in his juvenile season with a best performance of seventh but has had a new lease of life since returning to the track this season.

He was beaten just a neck when stepping up to a mile and a half at Wolverhampton in March, before breaking his maiden four days later at Kempton.

He followed that up with another pair of second-place finishes at Windsor and Wolverhampton, the latter by a short head.

He has a 5lb rise to overcome, but the first try at a mile and three-quarters could see his improvement continue, with the first-time booking of champion jockey William Buick hardly a negative.
