EXETER

Race 2 No1 IRON BRIDGE (Nap)
Trainer: Jonjo O’Neill – Jockey: Jonjo O’Neill Jr

IRON BRIDGE hasn’t won for three years but in spite of his recurring issues he’s the one holding the cards in this long distance handicap chase. He jumped and travelled well when second to post a seasonal best at Haydock, a repeat of which should be sufficient for him to see off LIVIN ON LUCO and RIVERS CORNER.

Race 3 No3 SEASMOKE
Trainer: Billy Aprahamian- Jockey: James Bowen

SEASMOKE was beaten a long way n her latest outing at Hereford but can bounce back with the addition of first time cheek pieces. She had produced solid form to earn on each of her previous four starts this season, and is worth another chance.

Race 6 No6 HENRIETTAREDHEART
Trainer: Stuart Kittow – Jockey: Mr Zac Baker

Larkhill point winner HENRIETTAREDHEART brings a left field appeal to the party for a finale which might not take much winning, and can score on this first outing under Rules.

CARLISLE

Race 1 No1 ROCKING MAN (Nap)
Trainer: Sam Thomas – Jockey: Dylan Johnston

ROCKING MAN can take advantage of a drop in class to return to winning ways in this ordinary novices’ hurdle. The penalised Nap was a tidy winner of his first outing over jumps at Chepstow only to be pulled up after travelling well for a long way in the Grade 2 River Don at Doncaster. This is far more straightforward.

Race 3 No7 PENN AVENUE
Trainer: David Pipe – Jockey: Jack Tudor

PENN AVENUE Aran powerfully for a long way before finally weakening at Wincanton to take away a fifth cheque in as many starts. This stiffer track should play to her strengths, and she deserves to get her head in front to reward the long journey from Somerset.

Race 5 No2 RED DELTA
Trainer: Fiona Needham – Jockey: Jack Andrews

RED DELTA outstayed his foes at Market Rasen before finishing in the money in the Eider Chase at Newcastle. He’s an upwardly mobile stayer who should prove hard to beat as he has bottomless stamina and is open to further progression.

Race 7 No2 JUST FOR DAD
Trainer: Sam Thomas – Jockey: Dylan Johnston

JUST FOR DAD attracted plenty of support for a race he ended up swerving last week. He has it to do on the book against previous winner RED ACRES MAX but has done very well since his first start at Ascot which was a better race than this.
