LEICESTER

Race 1 No1 BOBBY’S NELSON (Nap)
Trainer: Philip Hobbs – Jockey: Sean Houlihan

Should this fixture survive its Tuesday inspection BOBBY’S NELSON can get punters off to a bright start by defying a penalty in the novices’ hurdle. After carding figures of 222 for Hobbs the seven-year-old deservedly opened his account under Rules at Ffos Las and he’s in the mood to build on it. He has few miles on his racing clock, giving him room for further progression.

Race 5 No6 PARTY VIBES
Trainer: Henry Daly – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

PARTY VIBES comes here in favour of a harder assignment at the weekend and the tip should be taken. She showed amazing resilience to pass half a dozen horses over the last couple of fences when scoring on her latest start at Cheltenham and is proving a real asset to a syndicate run by former champion jockey Richard Johnson.

Race 6 No3 HARD DEALT
Trainer: Henry Daly – Jockey: David Bass

In the same colours, HARD DEALT should give a good account in this mares’ handicap hurdle. She put in a career best when chasing home Analiese in a Class 4 at Aintree at Christmas and looks a safer proposition to paper favourite HELLFIRE PRINCESS.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 3 No10 MARCHETTI (Each Way)
Trainer: Jimmy Fox – Jockey: Georgia Dobie

It’s been 20 starts since MARCHETTI last tasted victory, but the Camelot mare signalled with a podium finish at this track that she could be on the verge of stopping the rot. She’s getting a bit long in the tooth but has a good draw for this race round a lap of the track, and will start at a working man’s price.

Race 5 No12 SEEING STARS (Nap)
Trainer: William Knight – Jockey: Luke Morris

SEENG STARS brings the best form to the table after three near misses in as many attempts and should prove hard to beat on her first outing on Polytrack. Only a high drawn can detract from the claims of the Bated Breath filly, who appeals as the best bet of the night.

Race 6 No3 BEE MY HONEY
Trainer: Charlie Hills – Jockey: BenSanderson

Mehmas filly BEE MY HONEY has been a slow burner with three career starts resulting in figures of 222. Her activities were kept to the all weather in two starts last year when she was a beaten favourite on each occasion. She’s very interesting in his first handicap start in which she can take the measure of a similar type in SAVANNAH GREY.

Race 7 No3 BEYLERBEYI
Trainer: Ian Williams – Jockey: Billy Loughnane

For well over a year BEYLERBEYI’s attentions have been largely confined to racing on grass but on a return to the AW two weeks ago he looked unlucky not to go close. Ridden with restraint after taking a walk in the market the six-year-old had plenty to do in the straight and was hampered when making his bid. He has scope for progression in the weeks ahead and should again trouble the judge.
