NEWBURY

Race 2 No FIRE WARNING (Nap)
Trainer: Nicky Henderson – Jockey: James Bowen

From a stable that’s won this race twice in the last three years, FIRE WARNING looks the answer. He was a winner on the Flat in France before finishing second on hurdles debut at Auteuil. Representing top connections, he is strongly fancied to open his account.

Race 3 No4 FEEL GUT
Trainer: Nicky Henderson – Jockey: James Bowen

A pea out of the same pod is FEEL GUT. He chased home a smart foe on his only hurdles start at Auteuil, has been working well and can take full advantage of the 7lb he receives from APOLLON FORLONGE.

Race 5 No1 C’EST DIFFERENT
Trainer: Sam Thomas – Jockey: Dylan Johnston

It’s hard to look past C’EST DIFFERENT who has done us numerous favours and needs sticking with to make it four successes on the bounce. He could hardly have been more impresssive in making a winning return at Market Rasen in November, and with few miles on his racing clock has further room for progression, even though this is his toughest assignment to date.

Race 7 No4 GENERAL BRIAR
Trainer: Chris Gordon – Jockey: Freddie Gordon

There are a few with genuine claims in a competitive finale but GENERAL BRIAR might be the one to take the spoils as he was in full control after making all at Plumpton and has probably been tricky for the handicapper to assess.

LINGFIELD PARK

Race 1 No5 KUIAMA
Trainer: Dylan Cunha – Jockey: Jason Watson

Granted the luxury of the rail, KUIAMA has to go well in this 1000 metres sprint. Her figures since joining Cunha read 2133 and she’s shown a liking for Polytrack, even though her sole success happened on the Tapeta surface.

Race 6 No2 GOGO YUBARI (Nap)
Trainer: Tony Carroll- Jockey: Harry Vigors

Captain of industry GOGO YUBARI has the favoured rail as he tries to win a fourth race in the space of a week. The first two of his triumphs happened over this course and distance, and he wasn’t at all troubled to complete the hat-trick at Chelmsford on Sunday. He still looks a step ahead of the handicapper.

Race 7 No5 CHOURMO (Each Way)
Trainer: Dan Horsford – Jockey: Jason Watson

CHOURMO makes a first appearance on the AW for almost a year and refreshed from a near five month break on debut for his trainer. It’s only his twelfth run on sand and he’s yet to oblige on it, but a change of scenery could prove to be what the doctor ordered.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 3 No3 SAFE IDEA (Nap)
Trainer: Charlie Johnston – Jockey: Callum Shepherd

Cracksman filly SAFE IDEA is well drawn for this race around a lap of the track, having earned on each of her three starts before making the long trek from Middleham. Considering she missed the break and was bumped, the selection ran on in eye taking fashion at Wolverhampton and if ready after an eight month absence can make an impact in what looks a weak maiden.
