HEREFORD

Race 1 No7 SUPASUNRISE (Each Way)
Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey: Finn Lambert

SUPASUNRISE gets the percentage call in a wide-open start to the day, having forged a good association with his pilot. The selection is a regular earner but only an occasional scorer, but the combination looks to hold their best chance for a while and can take the spoils.

Race 3 No1 SECRET DES DIEUX (Nap)
Trainer:James Owen – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

SECRET DES DIEUX is not a straightforward conveyance, but having opened his account at Fakenham is hard to oppose in this weak affair. His trainer can do little wrong, and in spite of his idiosyncrasies, he appeals as the best bet on the card.

Race 5 No8 PIPERS CROSS (Each Way)
Trainer: Emma Lavelle – Jockey: Mr C Johnstone-Baker

PIPERS CROSS attracted support on a first outing for this stable, and though finishing well in that Warwick contest never looked like justifying it. In the belief that he might have been a gallop short he’s taken to recoup misses, though he remains a mercurial character who doesn’t do very much when he hits the front.

HEXHAM

Race 6 No5 IMPERIAL BEDE (Nap)
Trainer: Jonjo O’Neill – Jockey: Jonjo O’Neill Jr

The eye is drawn to long-time absentee HOLD UP LA COLMINE who can prove dangerous if ready following his protracted absence. He’s made the long journey from Somerset but might find IMPERIAL BEDE too hot to handle. The selection has signalled on his last two starts that he’s on the cusp of an overdue win, and a market check on him is strongly advised.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 1 No5 NANNY PARK
Trainer: James Fanshawe – Jockey: Daniel Muscutt

NANNY PARK did not go unbacked when second on her second start at Lingfield and is well drawn in this open race to gain a good position turning into the straight. If showing further progression she may prove good enough to open her account.

Race 3 No2 MASTER TECHNICIAN
Trainer: Rod Millman – Jockey: Oisin Murphy

MASTER TECHNICIAN progressed from race to race before opening his account at Musselburgh and has enjoyed a freshening break since that win. He has the added allure of Oisin Murphy in the saddle and is strongly fancied to follow up.

Race 5 No2 DARING FLIGHT (Nap)
Trainer: Charlie Appleby – Jockey: William Buick

The lack of experience is rarely a detriment to Appleby’s juvenile runners and I expect DARING FLIGHT to know what is required on this first public outing. The Dubawi gelding is the subject of favourable terms and holds solid claims from a favourable draw.
