CHEPSTOW

Race 4 No12 DIAMOND COTTAGE
Trainer: Malcolm Saunders – Jockey: Charlie Bennett

Denied only by her stablemate at Salisbury last week, DIAMOND COTTAGE can make a bold bid to go one better and record a third success at this track. The eight-year-old is well drawn and should soon contest the lead in a weak heat.

Race 6 No2 SUN TRACKER (Each Way)
Trainer: Richard Phillips – Jockey: David Probert

From a small stable that occasionally produces a big priced winner, SUN TRACKER can make an impact. The former French based gelding hasn’t shown much on the all-weather but could find improvement now switched to grass.

BEVERLEY

Race 1 No6 SOCIETY OF HONOUR
Trainer: Richard Fahey – Jockey: Oisin Orr

SOCIETY OF HONOUR had shown ability at home before his introduction at Ayr for which he was made favourite. He showed signs of greenness in finishing third and has learned plenty from it. The son of Nando Parrado is more streetwise, and can open his account.

Race 4 No8 NORTHBOUND (Each Way)
Trainer: Roger Fell – Jockey: C Horgan

NORTHBOUND was a winner and finished second on his final two outings last month before joining Roger Fell. The change of scenery is unlikely to dent that enthusiasm and he can return to winning ways

Race 6 No6 BELLE AMI (Each Way)
Traner: David Menuisier – Jockey: Warren Fentiman

BELLE AMI has finished last in each of her three stars on sand. She makes another step up the distance ladder for this first run in a handicap and is worth a speculative investment considering it’s her first run on grass, while she is bred to be useful.

WORCESTER

Race 3 No2 CAPTAIN HUGO
Trainer: Philip Hobbs – Jockey: Sean Houlihan

CAPTAN HUGO finds himself in a warm bumper but has the potential to win it on the way to better things. He’s superbly bred for jumping, and came clear of the rest when second the well regarded Race To Base at Hereford.

Race 4 No4 ICE IN THE VEINS (Nap)
Trainer: Dan Skelton – Jockey: Harry Skelton

ICE IN THE VEINS should be another short priced winner for the Skeltons. The grey found only one to beat him on debut at Warwick and has improved for it. He should prove very hard to beat.

Race 5 No5 HARD DEALT
Trainer: Henry Daly – Jockey: David Bass

HARD DEALT won her only point and has made the frame on both hurdling starts for Daly. She brings solid credentials to the table for this first run in two months, and can open her account.

SEDGEFIELD

Race 2 No3 SOLENT GETAWAY
Trainer: Donald McCain Jnr – Jockey: Brian Hughes

SOLENT GETAWAY has found the woodwork a few times including when second at this course last month. He can maintain his record of making the frame in every start over hurdles, though this is a winning chance he should take in his stride.

Race 5 No5 GAVIN (Nap)
Trainer: Mickey Bowen – Jockey: Sean Bowen

GAVIN formed part of a memorable day for rookie trainer Bowen when scoring at Ffos Las and should make no mistake on this quick return to the track with the champion jockey on his back.
