LINGFIELD PARK

Race 4 No4 TYPICAL WOMAN (Nap)
Trainer: Ian Williams – Jockey: Billy Loughnane

TYPICAL WOMAN is carded to start the outsider of four in this fillies’ handicap but although her opponents are all recent winners and half her age, the six-year-old can post a shock success. Her trainer has done his best to get her down the ratings but there was money for her ahead of her latest start at Newbury when she ran too free. Loughnane is back in the irons and will no doubt concentrate on getting her settled.

Race 6 No6 MR TRICK (Each Way)
Trainer: Ian Williams – Jockey: Charles Bishop

The Williams yard have a squeak in the finale with MR TRICK, whose turf campaign this season has seen a big gamble on him go west at this course in June. The seven-year-old is not devoid of ability, and should support come for him can outperform his price.

CARLISLE

Race 1 No1 MIGHTY MAGNUS
Trainer: Michael Dods – Jockey: Connor Beasley

MIGHTY MAGNUS makes a first appearance away from Ayr, and although this will provide him with a much stiffer test, the Dark Angel colt should relish the uphill finish and follow-up his recent breakthrough triumph.

Race 4 No3 ELEGANT JO JO (Nap)
Trainer: Karl Burke – Jockey: Clifford Lee

Ice Sovereign has the points on the board from an experience angle, but she will need to be at the top of her game to deny ELEGANT JO JO for whom there are very good vibes from Middleham. The New Bay filly hails from a stable that frequently readies one, and I understand the Nap is more than ready.

Race 5 No2 GORGEOUS MR GEORGE
Trainer: Dylan Cunha – Jockey: Kyle Strydom

GORGEOUS MR GEORGE did us a good turn when scoring at Yarmouth and now makes a first journey away from that track to race on grass. He’s edging up in the weights, but has a good understanding with his jockey, and is in the mood to complete a fine hat-trick.

HAMILTON PARK

Race 1 No3 HAPPIER
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: Jake Dickson

It was plain sailing for HAPPIER when she drew away in the closing stages to score at Catterick last week. That was the mare’s second run back from a break, and it will be no surprise to see her strike again while the iron’s hot for a stable very much amongst the winners.

Race 3 No2 GOLDEN HORSE
Trainer: William Haggas – Jockey: Tom Marquand

GOLDEN HORSE looked to be given an educational introduction at Pontefract when chasing home Charming Princess and Goodwood Mogul over a mile. The gelded son of Sea The Stars has been handed a gilt-edged opportunity to open his account, and should do so at the main expense of They All Know Me.

Race 4 No2 DANGER BAY (Nap)
Trainer: Ed Bethell – Jockey: Callum Rodriguez

DANGER BAY jumps off the page on this first run in a handicap for a trainer who is mustard with this type of individual. The New Bay colt could be named the winner some way out over the course and distance at the end of June, and looks the sort that could run up a sequence.
