MUSSELBURGH

Race 3 No3 ZARZYNI
Trainer: David Barron – Jockey: Connor Beasley

Having benefitted from a readying run at Newcastle, ZARZYNI is in a good place to shake the tree in this sprint handicap. The course and distance winner went down by just three lengths on that first outing after a long lay off and it should have blown away the cobwebs for his return to turf.

Race 5 No1 MARHABA GHAIYYATH (Nap)
Trainer: Charlie Johnston – Jockey: Joe Fanning

MARHABA GHAIYYATH is a progressive dual winner who makes appeal as a professional bet to complete a hat-trick on this first run in a handicap. He hasn’t beaten much and was a long odds-on shot when scoring at Wolverhampton, but if forcing tactics are employed he should prove very hard to catch.

Race 6 No3 VINCE LE PRINCE
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: David Allan

With Easterby’s handicappers earning on a regular basis VINCE LE PRINCE looks the way to go in this 1400 metres handicap. He ended the 2024 campaign strongly with a Catterick success, while he’s shown an ability to go well when fresh from a break in the past.

STRATFORD

Race 1 No3 KEEP ON COBBLING (Nap)
Trainer: Henry Daly – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

Passing Glance mare KEEP ON COBBLING raised her game to finish second at Doncaster despite starting as a 33-1 no hoper in that maiden hurdle. It was only a fourth run under Rules for the Downton raider, who is strongly fancied to open her account.

Race 4 No1 JACKPOT CASH
Trainer: James Owen – Jockey: Mr Alex Chadwick

JACKPOT CASH can demonstrate his versatility by successfully returning to hurdling after a gritty triumph on his latest start over fences at Sedgefield. He is a super consistent performer, and his trainer looks to have found another winning opportunity for him.
