FFOS LAS

Race 5 No1 CITY CYCLONE (Nap)
Trainer: Tony Carroll – Jockey: William Carson

Race 6 No9 ADRIAN
Trainer: Tony Carroll – Jockey: Aidan Keeley

PONTEFRACT

Race 2 No5 TRY STORM CAT
Trainer: Charlie Johnston – Jockey: Rossa Ryan

Owner Jaber Abdullah is enjoying a mid summer spree of winners that can be further bolstered by TRY STORM CAT in this 1200 metres novice. The selection brings strong credentials to the table and is ready to avenge his narrow defeat at Hamilton last time.

Race 3 No3 EMPIRE POWER (Each Way)
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: David Allan

EMPIRE POWER troubled the judge on her comeback at Wetherby when a 40-1 no hoper but the Frankel filly is sure to have learned from that and is bred to enjoy stretching out to a mile this afternoon. She can pose problems for the more experienced Blessed Star.

Race 6 No7 FANCY DANCER (Nap)
Trainer: Ollie Sangster – Jockey: Jack Nicholls

The best bet on this card is FANCY DANCER who did well to overcome a wide draw at Bath to make it two successes from her last three starts and has taken those exertions in her stride. Her connections will take a look at the ground, but as long as it’s considered safe she will run with confidence behind her, and a good apprentice easing her burden.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 2 No9 INCLUSIVE
Trainer: James Fanshawe – Jockey: Daniel Muscutt

A market watch is recommended on INCLUSIVE who is well drawn for this race around a lap of Dunstall Park. The Showcasing filly comes from one of her breeders’ best families and might be one to shake-up odds-on Time To Turn.

Race 3 No5 PICKERING CASTLE (Nap)
Trainer: David Simcock – Jockey: Luke Morris

PICKERING CASTLE looks the main arrow of Simcock’s two runners in this 1200 metres maiden. The gelding has a run under his belt which should give him a fitness edge over Ottawa and Impulse Bay, while he’s breaking from a perfect slot in the gate.

Race 4 No4 CRESTOFDISTINCTION
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: George Bass

CRESTOFDISTINCTION posted a very good time when overcoming a wide draw to open his account at Kempton, then ran better than his finishing position suggests in a messy affair at Leicester. Channon resisted running him last week to wait for this more suitable opportunity, and he should with an earning run maintain the very good form of his stable.

Race 7 No3 ROSE LIGHT (Each Way)
Trainer: A Forbes – Jockey: William Cox

ROSE LIGHT is a well related individual who ran well on her return to action at this course where she was too free. That has taken the fizz out of the daughter of Nathaniel, who can make the podium at a double figure price.

WINDSOR

Race 2 No5 SCHRODINGER’S CAT (Nap)
Trainer: Harry Charlton – Jockey: Oisin Murphy

With the champ on his back, SCHRODINGER’S CAT needs to be looked upon as a worthy favourite as he will be more streetwise than when he ran into the frame on his second start at Nottingham.

Race 4 No6 ZOULU CHIEF
Trainer: Heather Man – Jockey: Saffie Osborne

A gamble on ZOULU CHIEF went astray at this course last week, though in fairness to him the gelding wasn’t beaten far. He’s taken those exertions in his stride, and is fancied to bounce back.
