AYR

Race 1 No5 THESECRETADVERSARY (Nap)

Trainer: Fozzy Stack – Jockey: Seamie Heffernan

It’s rare for Stack to send one here which adds weight to the chance of THESECRETADVERSARY doing the business in this 1400 metres maiden. The son of St Mark’s Basilica found only Humidity his master in the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot, and if repeating that level of form will open his account.

Race 4 No8 WICKET KEEPER

Trainer: Ed Bethell – Jockey: Callum Rodriguez

In a good race for betting, WICKET KEEPER offers up value and is fancied to complet’s a hat-trick. The Kodi Bear gelding was strong in the market on each of his two starts out of Bethell’s Middleham stable at Catterick and Doncaster and moves into this high part of the handicap band as a completely unexposed sprinter. He’s mixing it with hardened individuals, but undoubtedly has the scope to give a good account.

Race 7 No1 AZUINTHEJUNGLE

Trainer: Nigel Tinkler – Jockey: Faye McManoman

Also on the hunt of a third success on the bounce is AZINTHEJUNGLE. He switches back to the grass from a Polytrack success at Kempton that always looked on the cards, and with his tail up can make a good fist of keeping his winning sequence going now back competing in his own parish.

CARTMEL

Race 5 No2 ANYHARMINASKING (Nap)

Trainer: Jonjo O’Neill – Jockey: Richie McLernon

Although it’s hard to put a line through any of these, ANYHARMINASKING has the allure of inexperience over fences which brings with it room for progression. He made a solid start to his chasing career when second at Uttoxeter, and has to go close of building on that for the O’Neills.

Race 7 No6 AM STILL HERE

Trainer: Nicky Richards – Jockey: Sean Quinlan

AM STILL HERE needed another few yards to put his head in front on his recent visit to this track, indicating that three miles will hold no perils for him. It was the gelding’s fifth runners-up slot in his last six outings over hurdles and fences, making him very much overdue for the delivery that should come today.

BEVERLEY

Race 4 No8 TOOTSIE (Nap)

Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: Sean Kirrane

The fact that she showed her first worthwhile piece of form on her latest of only six career outings suggests this can be within the compass of TOOTSIE. The filly is frequently easy to back, but as most in this bottom grade sprint are badly out of form it would be no surprise to see her start favourite, and to open her account.

Race 5 No4 JAMIH

Trainer: Tina Jackson – Jockey: Warren Fentiman

Veteran JAMIH  can roll back the years and return to the solid form he showed in back-to-back triumphs around this time last season. It’s his third run at Beverley in as many starts in 2025, with his latest offering raising hopes that he’s ready to bring his A-game to the table.

Race 6 No2 MILTEYE

Trainer: Harriet Bethell – Jockey: Cam Hardie

Following a barren spell in Ireland, MILTEYE has thrived under the wing of Bethell to trouble the judge in each of his five races this season. He gained a deserved first success at Carlisle, and should put in a similar display over this similarly stiff course.

WINDSOR

Race 6 No7 PRINCESS RASCAL (Each Way)

Trainer: Oliver Cole – Jockey: Rossa Ryan

Pinatubo filly PRINCESS RASCAL faces a number of in-form opponents but has the wherewithal to come out on top. She cosily landed the spoils when well supported at Salisbury and with Rossa Ryan an eye taking addition she can confirm her superiority over Purple Rainbow.

Race 7 No12 CATHEDRAL PEAK (Nap)

Trainer: Dylan Cunha – Jockey: Jim Crowley

CATHEDRAL PEAK initiated a double for her trainer at Yarmouth last week and needs to be given a long look competing from just 2lb higher in the ratings. The daughter of Camelot has improved from race to race and probably hasn’t stopped. She’s a bet worth waiting for in this finale.
