FONTWELL PARK

Race 1 No11 LE GALLI BIER (Nap)
Trainer: Gary Moore – Jockey: Freddie Mitchell

Former French-based LE GALLI BIER put in a solid first run under Rules when second to a previous winner at this course. If making only normal progression from that effort he should prove too strong for his foes and can get punters off to a bright start by taking out the opener.

Race 6 No3 ROI DU RISK
Trainer: Henrietta Knight – Jockey: Brendan Powell

Previous course experience should assist ROI DU RISK in the bumper. Having squeaked home on that occasion the selection will be more streetwise, and can defy his penalty at the main expense of Edward Sexton.

SOUTHWELL

Race 3 No1 ESCAPOLOGIST
Trainer: James Owen – Jockey: Mr Alex Chadwick

Top rated ESCAPOLOGIST is holding his form well, and given any luck in running should be hard to beat in this novices’ hurdle. His chief rival South Omo Zone needs to recover from a heavy defeat at Exeter, making his a risky proposition.

Race 5 No4 AGGAGIO (Nap)
Trainer: Gary Moore – Jockey: Caolilin Quinn

AGGAGIO was in full control at the business end of his latest start at Warwick which marked a big improvement on anything he’d achieved this season. He’s become well handicapped, and with his stable now in good order he should make it back-to-back successes.

Race 6 No4 GLENGOLLY (Each Way)
Trainer: Billy Aprahamian – Jockey: Alice Stevens

GLENGOLLY went out like a light when last seen at Taunton, but was subsequently found to be carrying a virus. He had previously unseated when looking to be going well within himself at Wetherby, and has his prospects improved today by the addition of cheek pieces.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 4 No4 EXCELLENT BELIEVE (Nap)
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: David Probert

Make Believe gelding EXCELLENT BELIEVE has put in some encouraging work ahead of this first visit to a racecourse. He’s well tuned, suggesting he will have too many guns for his foes in what seems a weak contest.

Race 9 No1 ALICE’S IMPACT
Trainer: David Evans – Jockey: Billy Loughnane

ALICE’S IMPACT has troubled the judge on each of her four starts this year and deserves a change of luck. Her chance is boosted by the presence in her saddle of Loughnane, who has an outside chance of winning the jockeys’ title this season.
