WINDSOR

Race 3 No5 RUN AWAY (Nap)
Trainer: Andrew Balding – Jockey: Oisin Murphy

RUN AWAY broke her maiden at the first time of asking at Yarmouth under Murphy only to underwhelm on her next start at Doncaster since when she’s been given the necessary time to grow and mature into her frame. In the colours of David Howden the No Nay Never filly can bounce back.

Race 5 No6 NEW KINGS ROAD (Each Way)
Trainer: Richard Hannon – Jockey: Joe Leavy

NEW KINGS ROAD has been ridden into the money by star apprentice Leavy on his last two outings at Newmarket and Kempton, having gained a second career success at Windsor before that. While fully exposed he appeals as a likely earner in this Class 5.

THIRSK

Race 1 No8 VISITANT (Each Way)
Trainer: David Thompson – Jockey: Alex Jary

VISITANT has frequently troubled the judge and posted three near misses without managing to put his head in front this year. He’s finished second in all three of his visits to this track, and fully deserves a change of luck after being given time to get over his latest defeat.

Race 4 No8 REGAL AGENDA
Trainer: Karl Burke – Jockey: Clifford Lee

REGAL AGENDA is one to monitor for a market move as she makes her debut in this mixed novice which sees two fillies chancing their arm against colts and geldings. The daughter of Pinatubo is out of a Street Cry mare and hails from a yard that can certainly get one ready.

Race 5 No11 TEES DOUGE (Each Way)
Trainer: Adrian Nicholls – Jockey: Duran Fentiman

TEES DOUGE has since his first run in last year’s Brocklesby gone 18 starts without a win, but having been denied in a photo on his latest start at Redcar can finally put his head in front. This speedy individual is in good order and a threat to all if he enjoys the rub of the green under the same jockey that was in his saddle last time.

WORCESTER

Race 2 No5 CHANCE A TUNE (Nap)
Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey: James Turner

CHANCE A TUNE is part of a dual attack on this two-and-a-half-mile handicap chase by his trainer and carded to go off the longer priced. However, the fact that he is unexposed as a chaser indicates he could be the way to go, as he was a wide-margin winner at Hereford before unseating at Plumpton in a race he might well have won.

Race 4 No1 BALLYTECHNO
Trainer: James Owen – Jockey: Sean Bowen

Owen is a dab hand at improving a horse and his new recruit BALLYTECHNO can prove another case in point. The five-year-old showed ability in bumpers and is reported to have schooled well in preparation for this switch to jumps.

Race 5 No1 DISCO DAVIS
Trainer: Dan Skelton – Jockey: Harry Skelton

DISCO DAVIS showed ability in bumpers and makes the switch to hurdles following a summer break. From a yard that is starting to make hay with its autumn runners, he can prove too strong from fit-from-the-Flat Trust House.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 2 No8 ROYALE GOODNIGHT (Each Way)
Trainer: Daniel Kubler – Jockey: Richard Kingscote

Godolphin’s Wild Angel will top the market for this fillies’ novice and could take a lot of beating, but at much longer odds ROYALE GOODNIGHT is worth considering. The Golden Horn filly needs to overcome a wide draw in the 1400 metres contest but is well-regarded.

Race 5 No11 WILLY CAMPBELL (Each Way)
Trainer: Sylvester Kirk – Jockey: Liam Keniry

WILLY CAMPBELL has improved from race to race in three outings this season to suggest this could be his day. He has proved very easy to back but made Evening Story pull out all the stops at Newcastle to show he’s at home on an all-weather surface.

Race 6 No4 AL AMEED (Nap)
Trainer: Simon Crisford – Jockey: Harry Davies

AL AMEED has been in the money on all four starts including when running the useful Ashariba close at this course on his latest outing. The gelding is better drawn than market rival Shader, and can open his account as the best bet on the card.
