AYR

Race 1 No4 KING’S CALL (Nap)
Trainer: Kevin Ryan – Jockey: Tom Eaves

KING’S CALL represents a stable that should be monitored with its juvenile runners through the heart of the summer. From the final crop of Dandy Man, he’s shown plenty of promise at home and can cause previous scorer Fred On Fire problems.

Race 4 No2 WATER OF LEITH (Each Way)
Trainer: Jim Goldie – Jockey: Paul Mulrennan

WATER OF LEITH is very good at winning at the end of the season, but following three earning efforts this year this ultra-consistent performer can buck that trend and post a deriving success for his popular local trainer.

NEWTON ABBOT

Race 1 No1 BOYLES HILL (Nap)
Trainer: Evan Williams – Jockey: Adam Wedge

BOYLES HILL brings good form to the table as a winning pointer in Ireland as well as having earned in a bumper and a maiden hurdle at Ffos Las. The chestnut is undoubtedly heading in the right direction and should take care of business for a trainer with a good record with his runners here.

Race 5 No9 EURKASH (Each Way)
Trainer: James Owen – Jockey: Harry Cobden

EURKASH has run some of his best races on tight, left-handed courses like this and it’s interesting that on a first outing for a new stable, he has the champion jockey in his irons for the first time. The ten-year-old also has his tongue tied down for the first time and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him earn at a rewarding double-figure price.

Race 6 No3 KONIGIN ISABELLA
Trainer: Anthony Honeyball – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

KONIGIN ISABELLA had to battle for her first career success at this track last month but now that the mare has got that monkey off her back there could be more to come. It should have provided the confidence boost she needs to follow up in this handicap hurdle.

WINDSOR

Race 5 No9 TIGER BAY (Each Way)
Trainer: Henry Candy – Jockey: Trevor Whelan

In the colours of her trainer, TIGER BAY can notch a deserved first success of the campaign. In a select season, the Harry Angel filly has been narrowly denied at this course in April and occupied the same position at Nottingham in May. But she’s benefitted from a subsequent break and can provide her stable with a success that confirms it is running into some form.

Race 6 No14 DOUBLE RED (Each Way)
Trainer: Henry Candy – Jockey: Trevor Whelan

There was much to like about the way DOUBLE RED claimed a first cheque at Newbury. The grey was a 33-1 roughie on that occasion but it wouldn’t be a total surprise if he attracted support tonight, even though this is a much more competitive heat.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 1 No10 SANTA CROCE (Nap)
Trainer: Sir Michael Stoute – Jockey: Saffie Osborne

Osborne had made the most of her chances on horses trained at Freemason Lodge. She’s no stronger to Pivotal filly SANTA CROCE, having ridden her on debut at Salisbury last September and again on her seasonal reappearance at Yarmouth. That resulted in a promising frame finish and the form has been boosted to a point, giving her the look of the best bet on this card.

Race 2 No7 SHEILA’S PARADISE
Trainer: Richard Hannon – Jockey: Sean Levey

Havana Grey colt SHEILA’S PARADISE put in a career-best when switched to the all-weather at Kempton and finishing second on that handicap debut. He enjoyed the move up to a mile but won’t mind cutting back to 1400 metres for what is a good winning opportunity, and one in which he’s well drawn to get a good early position.
