AYR

Race 2 No2 COSMIC CLARETS (Nap)
Trainer: Richard Fahey – Jockey: Oisin Orr

COSMIC CLARETS is bred to be quick, and the son of Starman gave notice that he would be winning soon when chasing home a more experienced foe on debut at Pontefract. This 1200 metres is one of the fastest in the country, and should prove to be just his cup of tea.

Race 3 No7 SIXCOR
Trainer: Linda Perrett – Jockey: Kaiya Fraser

SIXCOR went close to landing the Nap vote at Hamilton on Saturday. He’s taken those exertions in his stride, and is on the cusp of regaining that winning feeling now moved back up to 1200 metres under a rider that knows him well.

NEWTON ABBOT

Race 1 No7 ROADSHOW
Trainer: Paul Nicholls – Jockey: Harry Cobden

ROADSHOW looked to be travelling well within himself when unseating his rider here three weeks ago. That was in handicap company, and he will surely find the return to a maiden hurdle in his interests, enabling him to hopefully put a first success under Rules on the board.

Race 3 No1 HOWTH (Nap)
Trainer: Tom Lacey – Jockey: Stan Sheppard

HOWTH converted on his first two starts under Rules at Fakenham and Market Rasen only to make the mistake of going off too hard when running in a handicap at Uttoxeter. With only three up against him here, he should be able to deliver a round of more controlled front running and regain the winning thread.

WINDSOR

Race 2 No10 HAYYNAH
Trainer: Ollie Sangster – Jockey: Oisin Murphy

After missing the break and being denied racing real estate at a crucial stage, HAYYNAH finished with a wet sail on debut over this course and distance, and granted normal progression should open account in the hands of the champion jockey.

Race 3 No4 MANILA THRILLER (Nap)
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: Rob Hornby

MANILA THRILLER was doing her best work at the business end when beaten into third in a blanket finish at Beverley last week. She’s performed well in a better class than this, and if everything falls into place can outpoint the paper favourite Displaying.

Race 5 No5 ARRAN
Trainer: Ollie Cole – Jockey: Rossa Ryan

ARRAN looked a smart prospect when scoring on his first outing as a juvenile but was unable to live up to that potential in subsequent runs at the Ascot and Goodwood festivals. The fact that this is his first outing in almost a year tells you he’s had issues, but with a hood added following wind surgery, this could be the time to catch him.
