BRIGHTON

Race 2 No1 GETREADYTORUMBLE (Nap)
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: Nicola Currie

Hattal wears a hood on her debut while Lazzar has earned on three of his four outings. GETREADYTORUMBLE was beaten in a photo at Wolverhampton where he looked unlucky not to win. This half brother to Group class sprinter Desperate Hero makes his first appearance on turf, but has been in great form at home and should make no mistake.

Race 3 No6 BANKSMAN
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: Edward Greatrex

BANKSMAN attracted support on his first AW run at Wolverhampton only to underwhelm. This flashy individual is no star, but in a weak race might be worth supporting to recoup the losses.

Race 4 No2 TWILIGHT GUEST
Trainer: George Margarson – Jockey: David Egan

TWILIGHT GUEST with his come from behind course and distance triumph last week took Margarson off the cold list. He’s a mercurial character who needs to be delivered late, and his chance of following-up will therefore increase if his jockey waits as long as he dare to make his challenge.

MARKET RASEN

Race 5 No2 GWENNIE MAY GEM (Nap)
Trainer: Dan Skelton – Jockey: Harry Skelton

GWENNIE MAY GEM looked good value for his success four weeks ago and brings strong overall form to the table that makes him an automatic choice to complete a hat-trick in this novices’ handicap chase.

Race 7 No4 I’M A BELIEVER
Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

Another short priced favourite that should oblige is I’M A BELIEVER. He looked a shade unfortunate not to score at the first time of asking, and can make amends in the colours of his trainer.

WETHERBY

Race 2 No7 MEHMAS AIR FORCE
Trainer: Richard Hughes – Jockey: Patsy Cosgrave

MEHMAS AIR FORCE took a step forward when overturned as an odds-on favourite at Bath but the daughter of Mehmas has worked well subsequent to that run, making her a betting proposition to outpoint Cotai Belle.

Race 4 No11 QUIRKE ON PAROLE
Trainer: Mark Walford – Jockey: William Pyle

QUIRKE ON PAROLE fared better in her first run in a handicap and first on grass when taking away a minor cheque at Doncaster. She also looked more comfortable racing over a longer trip, and from her tempting place at the base of the weights can now open her account.

Race 6 No7 POL ROGER (Nap)
Trainer: Michael Dods – Jockey: Rhys Elliott

POL ROGER was the subject of sustained backing but managed only third at his favourite track of Ayr last month. He’s become a well handicapped horse, and appeals as the best bet on the card on this first visit to Wetherby, where in the long home straight he will have plenty of time to organise himself.

WINDSOR

Race 3 No9 TROPICAL HEAT (Nap)
Trainer: Clive Cox – Jockey: Saffie Osborne

Mohaather filly TROPICAL HEAT was supported when second on her Salisbury introduction last summer but proved easy to back when returning and claiming a minor cheque on the Wolverhampton all weather. She can cause problems for penalised favourite Jettie’s Run in the popular colours of Jeff Smith.

Race 7 No4 ISLAND BANDIT (Each Way)
Trainer: Heather Main – Jockey: Rossa Ryan

ISLAND BANDIT normally needs an outing to bring him to concert pitch, and after returning at Bath last month he should be in a position to do better. Rossa Ryan is a welcome addition to his saddle.
