LEICESTER

Race 4 No2 MIGHTY MOTH
Trainer: Noel Williams – Jockey: Joe Anderson

MIGHTY MOTH opened her account over fences when equipped with first time cheek pieces at Lingfield, an exercise that has given her a confidence boost following some near misses. She can take the spoils at the expense of Party Vibes, who has tackled better company and will be dangerous if allowed an easy lead.

Race 5 No2 YOU SAY NOTHING (Nap)
Trainer: Christian Williams – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

YOU SAY NOTHING came out of the wilderness when posting an all the way triumph at Lingfield a fortnight ago. It was a big step forward and one that can be repeated a a track that suits front runners on its chase course.

EXETER

Race 1 No3 RANGE (Nap)
Trainer: Sam Thomas – Jockey: Dylan Johnston

RANGE has been flying in stronger company since his initial chasing success at Chepstow, and while his two opponents in a race that has cut up are rated higher, he could benefit from being allowed free rein in front on a return to fences.

Race 3 No3 CORNISH STORM (Each Way)
Trainer: Stuart Kittow – Jockey: David Noonan

King Of The Lake will make a good fist of completing a hat-trick if handling this return to a shorter trip but better value can emanate from CORNISH STORM, who was well on top when opening his jumping account and should pay to follow in handicaps.

Race 6 No8 JACKSBAR
Trainer: Dan Skelton – Jockey: Harry Skelton

JACKSBAR upped her game in a big way to claim a first career success, and though returning from a near 90-day break will be hard to beat if in anything like a similar mood. The mare has been slow in grasping the nettle but now that she has there should be more to come.

AYR

Race 4 No9 FOLLOW CHARLIE (Each Way)
Trainer: Mike Smith – Jockey: Ben Smith

Though soundly beaten in each of his last three starts FOLLOW CHARLIE has taken a drop in the weights and is competing from a mark he can win off in this two and a half mile handicap hurdle. He’s just preferred to top weight Lord Of All Santa, who is trying to chase down a four-timer.

Race 6 No4 GIPSY LEE ROSE (Nap)
Trainer: Nick Alexander – Jockey: Bruce Lynn

Nothing goes into this in anything like the form of GIPSY LEE ROSE, who seeks a third win from her last four starts. She’s a strong stayer, and if maintaining her current form level will be hard to beat.

NEWCASTLE

Race 4 No3 CAMERON HIGHLANDER (Each Way)
Trainer: Paul Cole – Jockey: Finley Marsh

While two unbeaten winners make this a warm novice there are a couple of interesting newcomers in the pack that can cause them problems. Oasis Dream colt Topteam is well worth a market check, but the same applies to CAMERON HIGHLANDER who represents top stallion Too Darn Hot in the silks of Fitri Hay, and has shown a fair amount of promise at home.

Race 6 No1 MARTIN’S BRIG
Trainer: David Thompson – Jockey: Rhys Elliott

Having done us a good turn with his success here last week, MARTIN’S BRIG can make it back-to-back successes under top weight. He has the same apprentice on board who did the steering so ably, while having gained a needed confidence boost from the triumph.
