The Stayers’ Hurdle on Thursday is the big race of the day at the Cheltenham Festival. TEAHUPOO is the favourite and came second in this race last year. He has got course form, and he is a very solid horse.

But I’m going to look just a little bit further down the list and go for BOB OLINGER. Yes, he’s getting a little bit older now. He won this race last year and was given an amazing ride by Rachael Blackmore. She’s no longer in the saddle, and whoever takes over has a lot to live up to.

However, I’m getting good reports that BOB OLINGER is in good form. Of course, he beat the favourite in this race by a length and three-quarters last season and I think he’s going to confirm that.

Around about 7/1 – I think that’s a very good price and I’m going to be backing BOB OLINGER to win the Stayers’ Hurdle.
