He was questioned about his potential participation in some of the upcoming PGA Tour events, but the 15-time major winner’s response provided little clarity, leaving fans uncertain about his intentions.

“I really haven’t thought about golf, so I don’t think I’m going to be thinking about it for just a little bit here,” Woods said.

Just days prior, Woods spoke about his potential return to the PGA Tour while visiting the CBS broadcast booth at the Genesis Invitational. He touched on the idea of kicking off his competitive season at one of the tour’s premier events.

“I haven’t been able to do that,” Woods said, talking about how he intends to play more this season. “I’ll get back after it and look to play some of the bigger events.”

Tuesday’s TGL match marked Woods’ first competitive appearance since the death of his mother, Kultida Woods, on February 4. Kultida had been present at her son’s prior simulator league match, just as she had been for many of his triumphs throughout his golf career.

After the loss, Jupiter Links Golf Club’s record dropped to 1-2. They currently rank fifth in the standings, outside the semifinal qualification spots. However, Jupiter Links GC is tied with New York Golf Club at two points, with New York edging into fourth place due to winning more holes.

This keeps Woods’ team in contention for the next round, provided they can secure victories in their final two regular-season matches. Their fate, though, also hinges on New York GC’s performance. Meanwhile, Rory McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf, sitting in sixth with one point, still has a shot at climbing the ranks with a strong finish.
