Liverpool are said to be close to securing Bayer Leverkusen’s full-back Jeremie Frimpong, who has been on the Reds radar for some time.

Sources confirmed Frimpong underwent the initial part of his medical on Sunday, a significant step toward finalizing a transfer valued at approximately 35 million euros.
